Stayed here for one night en-route to the Lake District. Chose this site so we could stay over then have a drive along the seafront on Sunday morning, see the tower then up to see Eric stood on Morecombe seafront. Lovely little site, well spaced out. Toilet / shower block clean and well kept. Friendly staff, although they need to brush up on their local information. When I asked if there was a bar nearby so we could pop and have a beer she mentioned a "diner" 100 yards down the road but when I checked in the information hut, it closes at 5:00 as it's a proper diner not a pub. Didn't feel like driving back out so had a glass or two of vino in the Moho instead. Also, inadvertently parked near the playground so had a couple of kids running backwards and forwards past our van - note to self: don't park near a playground. Met up with a couple of fellow Motorhome Madness Facebook Group members who just happened to be on the same site, nice to have a chat. Overall, great site. Not too close to the seafront but okay for a night or two.
Blackpool
Third time here, site spotless as usual, wardens very helpful , is close enough for the many places that you want to visit.
Small problem is the noise from the roads around the camp ,but apart from that it was very enjoyable here.

Wonderful site
We stayed here from 19th - 25th March. Whilst the weather was not too good for the first few days, the site was superb. Very friendly, helpful wardens who kept the site immaculate. It was our first trip after my husband had suffered a stroke in November. Only an hour away from home but far enough to tow and see if we were going to be able to manage the caravan. I had slightly more than normal to do but we managed fine. We were given a pitch close to the facilities and a key for the disabled shower room to enable my husband to shower safely. We weren't troubled by road or aircraft noise as reported in other reviews. There is a Premier Inn with a restaurant attached only a mile or two from the site, next to B & Q. We ate there most nights. Very good carvery and lots of other choices on the menu.

LOVELY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY SITE
We arrived at 12:00 and were greeted by very friendly and helpful site staff who explained the site and the local area amenities and how to get to them. We actually came here to try out our new air awning a practice run before we go away at Easter but the weather wasn't really suitable wind and heavy rain so we just pitched up and set up our aerial mast. I have to say the site is absolutely spotless and well maintained and all the facilities very well kept the girl in the office Dee her name was, was ever so helpful and friendly. we will Highly recommend this site to anyone visiting the Blackpool area and we look forward to returning there in the not to distant future when the weather is fine to appreciate it even more.
Lovely Site
We stayed at this site over the October half term. Superb location for getting into Blackpool for the Illuminations. Straight off the motorway and easy to find. We are a family with two young children and we were located next to the play area which was great for us. The children loved the play area, which was clean, safe and secure. We went out for the day and the site warden's rang us to say that our water pump was running, so they removed it to stop it from burning out. I was super impressed with them for doing this, as it did save my water pump. Thank you! Toilets were clean and we had no issues. This is the only site we have stayed at where there are additional toilets available to use when the main block is being cleaned. We will return soon. Thanks!

Spent 1 week thire. The facilities were very cean however the locks are getting worn out and you have a job to gain access to them. You can here the traffic from the roads .Staff were very nice.
Nice site
Stayed here a few times now over the years, nice well kept site ideal as a base for Blackpool and the surrounding area. Can get a bit smelly at times from the stables/horse keeping places nearby sometimes the smell is overpowering but it is a good site overall. Ive noticed on here as on other sites a lot of people do not stick to the 5mph speed limit which is a shame but I suppose it only replicates the selfishness of some in society
Oct holiday
we have stayed on this site many times, it is always very clean and tidy.very convenient for Blackpool you get some noise from the nearby motorway but you do not notice that much .great site
Friendly, lovely site
This was our 2nd trip to this site and we cant wait to return!
Its a great location as its only 5 minutes into Blackpool. The site is clean and really well kept. The staff are some of the friendliest we have come across. Always chatty and really helpful. We highly recommend this site
Ideal For Blackpool
Site is ok for a Blackpool trip friendly wardens, the wife told me the ladies toilet was very cool inside this seems to have been going on for some time. It's murder trying to get a parking space on the front so do as we did, go over the flyover at the end of the M55 onto Yeadon Way till you come to the end of it and use the massive car park there it's £5 for 6 hours and a nice walk into town.
