Nice site

Great location easy to find, a little noise from road not too bad though, depending on wind blowing there's a smell that wafts by.... dog walks down the lane. Staff very nice no pressure at all. Pleasure to stay here.

First Visit but Will Come Again

We wanted a site that was fairly close to Blackpool in order to visit the town. Checked the Caravan & Motorhome website and the Directory, and decided on this site eventually. Easy to get to if you follow the directions on the website and the directory. Easy to check-in and find a suitable pitch. Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend on a quiet, friendly and open site. Well done to site staff for their organisation and dedication to providing a stress free weekend. Local busses (service 15 & 16) into town are every 1/2 hr from Mereside Tesco and beside the industrial estate on Deepdale Rd, but last bus back to site is around 6pm. Bus stop is about 15 min walk from site. Taxis can prove to be expensive according to site staff.

Nice site

As expected with any other C&MC site it's clean and tidy and a warm welcome from the wardens. Make sure you tie things down securely as the might blow away, it's quite a windy site/coast. The only issue I had with the site was the kids and some parents are unable to read the sign, no ball games, it's does spoil things when your van keeps getting hit by some kids ball, I did see one warden tell some kids they wasn't allowed, and they stopped playing, until the warden had gone out of site, other wardens didn't seem to enforce the rule which is disappointing. That said it's on our sites to return to list, close to Blackpool, St. Anne's, and plenty shops/supermarkets.

Very Good

The site was easy to find if you use the directions in the handbook, and the wardens were friendly and helpful. The site is well laid out with clean facilities and an excellent baby and toddler room. TV Reception is excellent but the WiFi is non existent, the air angel service does not work and didn't work for our entire visit so please don't rely on having an internet connection if you visit this site. (This is a club wide issue that really needs addressing) By car you are less than 10 mins away from Blackpool Sea Front and the Tower which is excellent and the public transport when you get there is brilliant.

First Time

Being new to caravanning this was my first site. The directions were excellent and got us there perfectly. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Other campers were also very friendly which created a lovely atmosphere. I didn't notice any road noise at all (I do live next to the M25!!). I found the showers and toilets extremely clean with plenty of room (separate area for keeping you clothes dry whilst you showered) and plenty of hot water. I had 3 dogs with me who I walked around the site once and also did a walk round the outside of the site, which wasn't a nice walk but adequate - but being so near to the wonderful beach (10 Mins by car) meant it wasn't a problem. Will definitely be back - thank you

Mixed feelings

On arrival the wardens were friendly and helpful at all times. As Caravan club sites go I would not rate this as one of their prettiest sites. There is a lot of traffic noise early morning and tea time but very quiet during the night. The toilets are always clean but the shower cubicles are small. It's a constant battle to stop the shower curtain from sticking to you. And to be honest can't swing a mouse around in them, never mind a cat. Wi if was non existent. The ISP is a company called Air Angel and are a shocking company to deal with. Tried to log on Monday couldn't do it. Spoke to the company who said they would fix the problem and call back the next day. Never happened. Spoke to the club on three occasions, they contacted air angel who promised to ring back, never happened. Finally on Friday teatime they Air angel sent me a text and I quote "There is a problem logging in on caravan club sites". I guess someone in that company has a degree in the obvious. Come on club put some pressure on this company or ditch them and get someone who can provide better customer services.

Off chance visit

Paying an off chance visit for two nights, we received a greeting from the wardens that was the warmest friendliest welcome from any warden we have visited in 40+ years of motorhoming.
