We stayed at Bearsted for 2 nights 15/4- 16/4 as we were attending a wedding at Leeds castle on the Saturday. We had booked a taxi to get us to the wedding but it never arrived. Enter our knight in shining armour!! The warden did no more than get his car and take us to the wedding to stop us being late. The wardens were so friendly and helpful, we cannot thank them enough We will stay again even though this site is less than 20 miles from home

Easter Break

First time at Bearsted. Mainly to facilitate easy run to Eurotunnel for day trip. Excellent facilities and very well kept. Some noise from M20 and railway but didn't bother us. Excellent access to and from M20. Nice little villages nearby.

Katie Storm

Yes we had a fantastic Easter Sunday night fighting the gale and rain and the awning! 0130  Monday morning saw us trying to dismantle the awning....probably the fastest done in some six years. Apart from that, our stay was as always ideal. As many people say, the facilities, the wardens (Roz and Terry) and  the site are probably the best on the whole circuit of CC sites. These was our sixth or seventh stay, great for ease of reaching from Yorkshire and close to our son who lives in Maidstone. No doubt we'll be back before the end of 2016. Thank you all involved.

Eggscellent for an Easter Break!

Very friendly and welcoming. The site is very clean and easy to get about on. We especially liked the showers and the baby room which is perfect for a family with little ones.

Good location for touring Kent towns & Cities.

Very good location for the crossing points of the Channel Tunnel.Plenty of Kent villages to explore with their unique crafts, foods & restaurants.Major road network makes for easy locations too.My only reservation was the traffic noise from the major roads & the high speed trains nearby.

You are in for a treat!

In total agreement of the reviewers who have commented on the hard work of the wardens who go far and above their duties. On a Sunday evening helping us with a caravan fault after a long day was just one example.  The site is spotlessly clean and there has been a great deal of effort in making the gardens look neat and cared for.   There has been some comments about the noise from the roads but it wasn't an issue for us and we consider it a small price to pay for good site access.  The views across the countryside and great walks allow the feeling of being in the countryside but with the added benefit of being close to major shopping areas.  Lots of local family entertainment.  A definite favourite for us.

Excellence in Kent

The Bearsted site is a beautiful site. Easy access; excellent facilities. Clean to a fault almost! The wardens work tirelessly far outside their official hours to keep this site EXCELLENT!

First time

Although we have been camping for 30 years we picked up our first caravan from a nearby dealer and stayed one night to check everything worked. The site is beautifully maintained, clean and tidy and the wardens were very freindly and did everything they could to help us, they had good knowledge of the local area. We got discount at Leeds Castle with our Caravan Club membership which was a bonus. Will visit again.

"Test site"

We stayed for only 1 night to "test" our new van out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a lovely small site, easy to get to and with easy access to many different attractions. Among these is delightful Leeds Castle . The only slight drawback as far as we were concerned was traffic noise from the nearby motorway and A20. However we would happily stay here again if in need of an overnight stop .
