TOP Notch

all CC sites are Good but this one stands out particularly in the cleanliness hard standing sites and closeness of amenities but most of all the friendliness and most helpful stewards nothing too much trouble to make it a perfect stay will be back. ken Humphreys

Excellent Site

This site is a small gem. It is not quiet but what do you expect of a site located near a motorway and main rail line. For visiting the beautiful county of Kent it is very central and no doubt an ideal stopover when travelling to or from France.

One of the best

Fab site, spacious pitches, very clean throughout the site, just can't fault it. Will definitely be back when our travels take us this way again.

Our trip to Kent

After having our caravan stolen 8 weeks ago - a very traumatic event, we collected our new caravan for a trip to Kent.  The site has spacious plots in a good area, despite road noise (which you do get used to) and peacocks!  The site is extremely well maintained by a lovely couple!   So close to Leeds Castle and Segways, such fun.  Sissingshurst - well worth a trip. Chatham historic dockyard and several fine eateries nearby.  Thank you Bearsted.

Excellent site in every way

Perfect site only minutes from the motorway and only 30 minutes maximum from the Channel Tunnel. Toilets and showers spotlessly clean and the whole complex beautifully maintained. Good wifi access all over the site, but booster cable needed for good TV reception - not a problem if you have one. Wardens most welcoming and pleasant. Would certainly stay again.

Weekend getaway

Have recently returned from a 2 night stay .10\10 to the wardens for keeping an excellent site , so clean and tidy  . There's a mobile chippie on Friday nights very very nice .Would we return? This was our fifth time , and have no reason to assume it will be our last.

Great long weekend getaway

We stayed 4 nights as a long weekend.  The site is very clean and tidy and the facilities were immaculate, there is a tidy-well-looked-after children's play area as well as a dog-walk. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area and we found some great walks with the dog. We found the early facility cleaning time difficult to adjust to as we are naturally late starters and are more used to a 12:00 - 14:00 cleaning time rather than the 10:30 - 12:00 on this site.  We will, however, most definitely return.

A site for more than stopping off en route

I have stayed at this site quite often as it is fairly local to me. There is some traffic noise though this not really intrusive. The site as always is very well kept and the wardens are likewise as always, very helpful. There is much to see in the area so it is well worth staying for a while (but also good for stopping off en route to or from the port of Dover or Channel Tunnel). Highly recommended!

Helpful

We stayed at Bearsted for 2 nights 15/4- 16/4 as we were attending a wedding at Leeds castle on the Saturday. We had booked a taxi to get us to the wedding but it never arrived. Enter our knight in shining armour!! The warden did no more than get his car and take us to the wedding to stop us being late. The wardens were so friendly and helpful, we cannot thank them enough We will stay again even though this site is less than 20 miles from home
