We had not booked and just turned up ,they were full and tried to find us another site but were unable to. They then let us stay in their parking area much to our relief. They bent over backwards for us.
Really enjoyed the one night we had very clean facilities.
Second home
Have just spent another week at this lovely site great wardens and spotless facilities our family live in Bearsted and Maidstone and this gives us a chance to visit for a week at a time also we always use it as a stopover for the channel crossing
First Timers
Stayed here for two weeks in June, most people seem to stay for a few days ( to or from ferry?). They are missing so much, Leeds Castle is just five minute drive away and there are a number of very good gardens within short drive of here. One tip if eating at the Oak on the Green in Bearsted Green village, if you like puddings don't have a starter as the main courses are large. Site is very easy to find although leaving could be awkward if you turn right, you will have to be quick as the road is 60 mph limit as sight is limited.
Another enjoyable stay
Warm welcome from the warden on duty and everything as it always seems to be here, quite immaculate. Only a short stopover before heading off to Daleacres for the rest of the week
Warm and welcoming site
Stayed here for three nights in June and was very impressed. Friendly welcome from relief warden. Beautifully maintained site, with very clean facilities. Didn't notice any motorway noise but l lived within 2 miles of motorway. Nice places to eat in Bearsted, Leeds Castle only a mile or so away, plenty of good walks nearby and golf just down the road. Would definitely recommend.
Relaxing weekend
Another lovely weekend at Bearsted. The site is small and quiet. The warden was so very helpful this time, helping us get onto a slightly sloping pitch. There is some noise from the motorway & Eurostar but it doesn't spoil it for us. Great pubs in nearby Bearsted Green & a lovely place for a weekend break.

6 night enjoyable stay
Myself, husband and 12 yr old daughter stayed for 6 nights over the end of May bank holiday. This was our 3rd stay here since April this year and we will definitely be returning. The wardens Terry and Roz are extremely friendly and welcoming, nothing is to much trouble and they keep the site imacculate at all times. The toilet/shower facilities are always exceptionally clean, and the music, flowers and freshners in them make them very pleasant. There is a small but adequate playpark which our daughter enjoyed and met several people her own age there. We would definitely recommend this site whether you are visiting with or without children. Well done Terry and Roz, excellent job! Sadie and Stuart. Kent.
Welcoming, clean site.
We had a good few days at this site, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the facilities were clean. We particularly liked the radio being on in the toilet block, it gave an element of company to our teenager when she was in there alone.
If you want a really quiet site, this may not be for you as there was road noise from the M20 and some rather loud and unusual bird calls. The road noise didn't bother us at all, as we live by a main route, but the birds woke me up.
