First time

First visit to Battle. Did not start too well as BT line was not working and credit card was blocked when they tried to take manual payment. No prior advice from Club. Plenty to do in the area. It's was half term so roads were very busy. Kids on site were using a circular route as a cycle race track no evidence of adults being in control.

Good location for day trips to hastings

We stayed here in October this year  for a weekend always the staff are helpful they really did us a favour this time because we forgot the dogs lead and collar. The office staff loandus their dogs lead and collar but we had to buy another in Hastings. This is what you call staff putting theirselves out for us who forget things. It will not happen again as now we have two sets. The stay was great as usual nice settings and good hard standing we love staying here it was our 1st holiday with our caravan will always come back. Have a nice Christmas see you next year.

After all those years.

25 years ago was the last time we visited this wonderful site, and wow it's just really got more wonderful, the trees have matured (and so have we) and the landscaping and little hide-away pitches are a joy to discover, staff really helpful and friendly and the whole site is family/dog friendly but also great for peace and relaxing for couples, a "must to visit list" site and surrounding area.

A very pleasant site.

Our 2nd visit to this site and it did not disappoint us. Wardens soon booked us in and let us choose a pitch near to the bottom toilet/shower block which they were spotless with piped music playing inside, a lovely touch. There were plenty of pitches to choose from which all were a good size, some as ours did need a long hookup lead but was not a problem, water points quite close by. We had an excellent tv signal but my only disappointment there was no wifi signal available so had to rely on Internet through my mobile phone. Nice sized play area for the children and lovely walks round the site itself. All in all a very good & pleasant site, we will certainly be returning again.

Fantastic Site

We have been here twice.  This is a gem of a site, nicely located just 2 miles from Battle and not far from coast and Hastings.  Beautiful ancient trees are scattered around the site, there are LOADS of nooks and crannies to park your van if you like your privacy.  It is one of the largest, in terms of site - not necessarily pitches - we have visited.  A nice play area + a small football pitch (ideal for the kids).  Well maintained with friendly staff. Bonus for us was the little treasure hunt around the site for our girls, short and simply but they loved it. Clean facilities and team very helpful.   After just two visits, one of our favourite sites :-)

A long walk to anywhere

A beautifully landscaped site, one of the nicest I have stopped on. dog walking is a wide country lane leaving the bottom of the site. apart from a village store and pub 30 minute walk away, everything is a drive away.  A good base to drive to Hastings, Bexhill and Eastbourne etc and a lovely site to just stay on. but dubious for seasoned cyclists and walkers, as most of the country lanes have no footpaths and are mainroads.

Location of our first outing in our caravan

We booked at Normanhurst Court on the recommendation of the previous owner of our caravan. It was our first outing and only about an hour away from home. For October, the weather was outstanding. Chilly at night but lovely sunny days throughout our three night stay. Having two dogs, the excellent dog walk through nearby woods was perfect for us. The site facilities were spotless and the wardens friendly and helpful. We certainly intend to visit again next season. Grahame and Joan Bradford

Battle Normanhurst

28th Sept 2015 this is the 3rd time we have stayed at this site. We chose pitch 114 as you could park nose first giving you wonderful views over the countryside. Yoy cannot fault the facilities here and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is in easy reach of many resorts including Brighton. We will definately be staying here again.
