Great weekend break

We recently enjoyed a relaxing weekend break at Normanhurst Court.  The main purpose of our visit was to fully test out our new (to us) caravan. All of the staff were extremely friendly, polite and welcoming. The site was immaculately maintained and the shower and toilet blocks were spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. Being local to us we will defininately return.

Great site

We only stayed one night but the site was perfect. Very helpful wardens, lovely surroundings, excellent clean and warm facilities.

Great site in an ideal location

First things first, Normancourt is very well located, being less than two miles from the A21.  Then there is the list of other "plus points" from extremely helpful and accommodating wardens, a delightful site with charm and character (was once a stately home) to its location in East Sussex with plenty of good locations nearby. Naturally there is Battle Abbey and the site of the Battle of Hastings just a couple of miles away, but a quick check on the historic buildings nearby, not to mention proximity to the coast (Hastings, Bexhill, etc.) and it will quickly become clear how much choice there is in this part of England. Well worth a visit, we'll be back and thanks to the very helpful wardens. All positive!

Excellent site

A lovely peaceful site with superb atmosphere. Mature trees and architectural features add lots of interest, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the facilities spotless (including piped music ...) East Susses has lots of places of interest, with Battle Abbey, Bodiam Castle and the Clergy House at Alfriston worth a special mention - incidentally Badgers @ The Old Bakery in Afriston serves superb food (if you like "proper" Welsh Rarebit that's the place to go!). The only minor gripe we had about the site was the signage; the entrance is not the easiest and as you approach the it on a fairly blind bend a bit more advanced warning and bigger or more obvious signs would help.

tranquility.

would just like to let the members who have not already stayed at normanhurst court what a peaceful place I found it to be, because it used to be a beautiful landscaped garden that attached to a mansion you have the benefits  of the beautiful exotic trees and shrubs. the wardens were extremely helpful and the facilities as usual very clean.Great location if you like history and nature the only small moan Ihave is road leading into the site has a few potholes that need adressing.

Awesome!

We were looking for a late availability site based on the good weather reports for the weekend and found this. On arrival we were given the choice of pitches and chose 120. the site is really good, welcoming staff who are available, Pristine cleanliness! even piped music in the facilities. Great location to go and see Bodiam castle which we did, great. Would thoroughly recommend this site, and based on this visit our whole family are planning to stay here next year. 10/10 5star

A gem of a site

Normanhurst Court certainly lived up to the Club's photos and description of the site. Facilities were excellent and wardens helpful and friendly. The file on the history of the site was very interesting and poignant in parts. Coming, as we do, from rural Dorset the aircraft noise and traffic round E.Sussex all added to the Battle experience. Site is very well placed for other historical sites e.g. Pevensey castle. We shall definitely be coming back.

Rest & relaxation

Stayed here for a few days to try out our new Motorhome. Both our grandsons visited us on the first afternoon and made use of the children's playground. The only issue here is that is is geared up for older kids and not for our 3 & 5 year olds. Used the lower toilet block regularly and found them to be pristine at all times. This is down to both the care taken by site users and the regular checks carried out by the warden team on site. I would recommend this site to anyone wishing for a restful break with plenty of nature surrounding you. ??????

Beautiful Site

Our second visit to this site .The first in June , 2 years ago , the huge rhodedendron bushes were in full bloom and gave the site a very special look. Facilities are excellent and the wardens are very helpful and look after the site very well .My dog loved the 1066 Trail and I enjoyed the 'pint' at the pub in the village at the end of it .One of the best sites in the club.
