Love this site 
Every pitch is unique. So many completely different areas to choose... secluded in woodland, hard standing in walled garden to open sunny grass pitches. Washrooms immaculate. Staff friendly and helpful 
Wonderful foodie pub up the road called The Squirrel.
We loved this site. Lots of great walks - we followed 1066 route into Battle and visited the battle site. In the opposite direction fabulous countryside and views, as well as the pub at Brownbread Street (I promise you that's the name of the hamlet!). We visited the science centre at Herstmonceaux, which we think would be a great place to take children, as well as being great fun for grown ups too.
