Great location for the O2

We stayed here for two nights, great site, friendly wardens. Just a short taxi ride to the O2,where we watched U2.We used the Uber taxi app which turned out to be very good and cheap(£12)would highly recommend.Loads of open space just outside the site to exercise the dog. We will definitely be using this site again.

Noisy

Should have been a quite peaceful site, however the wardens have too many noisy motorised toys to play with. The noise from these all day became intolerable. At one time we had 3 machines outside our van. No information on local eating and drinking available or offered on asking at reception.

Great for any London visit

This site is a short walk from train station where you can get to all areas of London and return for less than £10 per day equivalent to just one hour parking on central London. The site was very well maintained and staff very helpful and friendly, once on the site you could be forgiven for thinking you was out in the middle of the countryside, easy access to walking and bike routes off main road to the Thames then along tow path, Great time will be returning

Great Site

I am never disappointed at this site, the standards are always of the very highest. Disappointed to learn that the management team are moving on, only hope the new management team and new staff are as good as the outgoing team (I wish them well in Brixham)

Great for London and Greater London

We stay here for 4 nights and enjoy it. Very tidy facilities. Good conections for London all day and late at night. Foxes on the site loves shoes and food. So make sure to close all doors and windows. We will be back to Abbey Wood next year.

Autumn Break

Returned to this site as its so easy to get to Central London. 35 mins on Main Line to Charing Cross or Cannon St, beware delays as the Station is being reworked and there may be a bus service. Site is clean, well laid out and welcoming. Local shops are handy for the 'forgotten' items and a Greasy Spoon for a substantial 'Full Monty'. Nice walk locally around the park and Abbey ruins across the road.

Long Weekend

We stayed at this site for 3 nights in September.  You wouldn't think it is so near to the hustle and bustle of the city!  It is so peaceful yet only a few minutes walk away from the train station into London.  The site itself is very well kept and the facilities are very clean.  The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble.  Would definitely recommend and would go back!

Great site

I don't normally do a review but we had a great 5 days at abbey wood. We found the drive to the site easy from the m25. Hardly any traffic mid morning or late pm. The site facilities were great. The train or bus were within 10 minute stroll. 30 minutes into London on the train. Big new sainsburys right by the train station. Site so quiet you would never believe you were in the city! Great site. Will be back.

Great Site

We stayed here for two nights in June, we were so impressed that we came back for six nights in September. This site is amazing, so close to London but feels like you are in the country. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Toilet blocks are clean and well looked after, the pitches are all different, hard standing or grass. Also there were Green Parrots flying around. I would have no hesitation in recommending this site.
