Matt and Lucy made us very welcome. The site is well maintained looking over beautiful hills and surrounding farm lands.
Easy access into Jedburgh and other locations. Matt was very informative regarding his sheep especially the orphan lambs.
Pleasant walks around farm. Hopefully we will return again.
Beautifully tranquil with the most incredible views out over the rolling hills. We are a large motorhome (8.5m) and access was easy and the pitches are all hardstanding and more than large enough.
There is lots of walking both on the farm and also the small, quiet roads around the farm no matter how far you want to go the beautiful countryside just keeps giving! You are approximately 4.5km from Jedburgh which is beautiful but if you don't have a car and want to go in, be prepared for a hilly but beautiful walk through the back roads as there isn't anything else close by so come fully stocked up!
We will definately be back again if we are passing through - my morning run through the hills each day were hard, but worth the work for the scenery!
We have stayed here for a 2 week stay pluse stop overs to Scotland and returning to England for the last 3 years I can't recommended this site enough.
Lucy has alway been helpful organised and informative Including when we broke down one year and had to extend our stay un till the car was repaired she had no hesitation I'm accommadating our needs.
The site location is gorgeous ideal for exploring the boarders and the Northumberland 250 added bonus is star gazing on a clear night what a spectical. Will definitely be back again
Thank you Lucy and the team 😀👍🍻🍷
We booked for an overnight site but did not receive an email as promised with any instructions. However another phone call to Mrs Tile easily rectified that and all went well. The site was easy to find and access was straightforward. All grass is beautifully cut and collected which means you don't find yourself walking great clumps of grass in everywhere.
The site is very peaceful and views are lovely. Our only slight problem which could perhaps have been made slightly clearer in the description was that there are no toilets or showers provided. Not a big problem for just one night but I would not want to be there for a week personally. Perhaps our fault for not thoroughly checking that particular detail. Apart from that would thoroughly recommend this pretty site.
Lovely quiet site in beautiful location. Good for access to the ScottishBorders and beyond. Very reasonably priced, 10kwh of electric included in per night price. Site well kept. Full instructions for arrival in welcome email. Lovely walks from site (uphill track though!). My only concern was the dog poo left at both sides of the track which I presume is from the farm dog, as he came on to site both days of our stay and did his business next to our pitch. I didn’t get a chance to mention this to the site owners so maybe they’re not aware of it. Otherwise, five stars.
Stopped here on way up to North coast, and on way back home too. Lovely quiet and peaceful site with great views. Loved watching the spring lambs playing in the field.
Good access for large outfits. Lovely views. Very quiet and peaceful. We had to pay a bit extra to top up the electricity as it was rather cold during our visit, but even with that it works out decent value. Would use again happily.
Glorious site, immaculate with huge views and beautifully quiet at night. Everything you need - EHU, wate disposal, water. Next time we'll make time to follow one of the waymarked walks. We were on pitch 1 which had a bit of a slope, nothing major. we used our ramps as well as maximising the self-levelling in our van. Definitely our new go-to when heading north. Thanks Lucy.
