We visited this well laid out site recently and can fully agree with the previous reviews.
Easy access from the main road yet very little road noise. Wide gate access and informative info available on site. Water, waste and electric points are first class. Slope of site is slight and wooden blocks are, thoughtfully, at hand for those that require them. Views over the hills are impressive from a site that is well sheltered.
This is certainly one of the top C.L's in our opinion.
Great little site
Just returned from 7 days and would certainly recommend this site it is easily accessed from the main road with no narrow roads to contend with, fantastic views ,two hard standings though the one we were on had quite a slope on it so had to use wood blocks to get level ,other one okay, three grass pitches, good waste/water/electric points and plenty of space , unable to get tv reception though that's not a bad thing, plenty to do in area , will be making return visit in the future.
Great place, great views
What a delightful CL. We always head for CL's as we like the peace and quiet they offer and we were not disappointed here. We enjoyed these fantastic views enjoyed while having our breakfast of morning coffee. Then there's so much to do in the area and for us being about an hour or so from Edinburgh and Newcastle meant that we were able to see our children and grandchildren either by us going to them or vice versa. Being a working farm brought an added attraction to our two young grandchildren in the it just happened that some of the sheep and lambs were being gathered and they were able to watch. The walks within the farm are a great asset as is the presence of so many varied activities and things to do within a short drive. We are members of Historic Scotland and National Trust and there are still many of their properties and gardens that we didn't get to visit this time. Also, it is a CL that is great to just sit and enjoy, especially as we were graced with good weather. My only downside in recommending it is that it might become too popular and we won't be able to spend a fortnight here quite so easily next time.

Lovely location
Ideally based just off the main A68. Fantastic views of the Scottish Borders countryside and brilliant for exploring the border towns of Jedburgh, Melrose, Kelso. We will certainly be making a return visit in the future
WELL WORTH A VISIT
This was our second visit to this site and had another great weekend
The weather was great what a lovely quiet site just the place to switch off and enjoy the fantastic views
There is also some nice quiet walks for dog walking or just going for a stroll
Jedburgh is only a few miles away and the borders is a nice place to visit will be returning again at some point for another long weekend as its not too far from home its good to get away and relax

Lovely CL In the Scottish Borders
We stayed here for 9 nights Easter 2013. It is located on a working farm a couple of miles south of Jedburgh. The views across to the Cheviot Hills are magnificent, especially as they were covered in snow when we were there.
Matt and Lucy are very welcoming and provide a lot of information on the area. Matt took us for a walking tour of the organic farm which was fascinating. Additionally there are a number of walks signposted around the farm as well as a Hide where you can watch deer and badgers at dusk or early morning.
There are two hardstanding pitches and three grass. The hardstanding is only a little wider than the caravan but we had no problem putting the awning on the adjacent grass. All pitches have electric hookup and the site has WiFi included in the price.
There are lots of walks in the area.. There is a book on walks in the Jedburgh area for £2 at the Tourist Office in Jedburgh.
Edinburgh is within easy reach (75 mins) straight up the A68 and Holy Island is also easily accessible.
We ate at the Clock Tower Restaurant in Jedburgh one night and it was excellent.
There is lots to do in the area and the site should be considered as a place to stay for a number of nights, not just a stopover.
