Peaceful stay

We spent one lovely night at this tranquil quiet and small site, good size pitches and your arent overlooked, ideal for our dogs with good walks, the views were amazing, the site was clean and tidy, we will definitely return soon.

July 2022

Lovely peaceful site with plenty of space between pitches, levelling blocks / ramps may be required on a couple of pitches. Easy to find and access is trouble free. There are number of walks from site with information and maps on noticeboard. Just a few miles from Jedburgh with shops and other facilities available not to mention the wonderful Jedburgh Abbey. Thoroughly recommended and hope to be back later this year

Lovely Campsite

We stayed for four nights. It was a beautiful and peaceful site. We are returning in October.

A very peaceful site

We stayed for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this site set in a stunning location, with easy access to the local area. It’s a clean and well maintained site with all the facilities close at hand, some levelling blocks are required on two of the pitches, there are some blocks available in the bin compound. The tourist information office in Jedburgh has a good range of free leaflets detailing local cycle and walking routes, which compliment the extensive information provided by Matt and Lucy prior to our arrival.

Peaceful site

We stayed here for one night in early May '22. Easy to find, quiet with plenty of room. Nice views. Unfortunately unable to do farm walks as lambing in progress. Close to Jedburgh which is a pleasant place to look around.

Easy to find - peaceful CL in nice surroundings

5 hard-standing pitches in their own field, all with electric hook-up, well spaced apart. Waste emptying in the bottom corner, elsewhere bins for rubbish and recycling. Drinking water tap supplied with interchangeable short and long hoses; long hose reaches to the gravelled track, so that motorhomes don't need to drive on the grass to fill up. Very well organised - we arrived to see our name on the noticeboard advising which pitch was allocated to us. Clean and well maintained, with lovely views over the Jed Water valley.

Lovely CL.

We have stayed three times now at this lovely site. A nice quiet spot which is just what we like. Very clean, tidy and well kept. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Some lovely walks with stunning views of the Cheviots and surrounding hills. Pitches are well spaced and all hardstanding. Water and CTD are close at hand. A really lovely tranquil place. Thank you.

Gem of a site and undiscovered area

We visited Bairnkine Farm in June as part of an extended 8 week holiday and stayed for 6 nights. It’s an area we haven’t visited before and we were pleasantly surprised. The CL is very peaceful and tranquil with the occasional sheep noise. There are all the usual facilities such as water, waste and chemical disposal points, all very clean. There is a well organised rubbish and recycling area, a very informative notice board. We were allocated pitch 3 which was large and very level. In all our dealings with the owners they were very friendly and chatty but not to an intrusive level. We found lots to do in the area, plenty of history in nearby Jedburgh, free parking and a fab chocolate shop. There is lots of walking and hiking available for all levels of fitness, there are even some lovely walks from the site. We will definitely visit again. Oh and the views from the site are great too.

lovely views

W.e only had one night at this quiet clean site. It has lovely views and we did one of the walks which was marked. Our only complaint was the caravans where very close together and to get some privacy we put our blinds down. This was the only fault we found with an otherwise good site.
