We only stayed the one night to break the long journey home. But lovely quiet location with gorgeous countryside views. Only a few miles from Jedburgh and easy access to the main road.
A good base for exploring the eastern and central Scottish Borders
This proved to be a lovely base for exploring the Scottish Borders with the Abbeys and other points of local interest such as Abbotsford - the home of Sir Walter Scott and lovely Border towns such as Kelso, Jedburgh and Melrose. The site itself offers fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and views towards the hills and Keilder Forrest across the Border. The pitches have a pronounced slope from back to front so you will find you unit quite high at the front to provide a level floor inside! I recommend you purchase some of the lamb products available from the owners which are absolutely delicious. We were there in August and never exceed the 10kwh allowance provided as part of the pitch fee. Give it a go if you are in the Border area you wont be disappointed.
Lovely CL very beautiful and relaxing place to stay
We Drove 4 hours with our Caravan, and arrived with the information already sent to my phone on what to expect and the pitch number allocated. Lovely clean site.
Water and bins for rubbish. Plus Elson empty area in a different part easy reach, with water hose,
The wifi was very good.
Couldn't get a tv signal so the wifi was used to for the firestick. Place's of interest, jedburgh, Kelso, nearby.
Northumberland, corbridge, hexham, well worth a visit, also alnwick, and rothbury. And cragside.
We intended to come back here for more adventures 5 of of 5 in our opinion.Hopefully but some lamb from the farm. Next time.
Fantastic Site.
Beautiful site. Stunning location. Lovely way marked walks around the farm. Easy access to Jedburgh and surrounding areas. Tim and Lucie were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Peace & quiet with beautiful views
We stayed here for 2 nights to break our journey from further north. The site was easy to find thanks to the email from Lucy. It was in a lovely sheltered setting with views over farmland out to the hills.
The site was very clean & tidy with easy access. We followed one of the farm walks which was great & easy to navigate.
A few minutes from Jedburgh with all its facilities & a great place to stay to explore border country.
Wonderful farm stay
Lovely peaceful site with great views. Slightly sloping gravel pitches so blocks required. Good facilites. Great farm walks on 3 clearly marked trails. Spotted roe deer with fawns. Owls at night the only sound.
Close to Jedburgh which has a carpark that accommodates motorhomes for visiting the town. Recommend the Abbey audio tour.
Would have happily stayed longer if we had not already booked elsewhere for our onward trip.
What a lovely site
Tranquil site with lovely views.
Great welcome by the team.
Enjoyed an evening walk around the squirrel trail. Saw two deer playing in field.
Good recommendations from young man working on the farm, so visited Kelso and enjoyed our time there.
Thank you for a lovely visit. Highly recommend.
Beautiful
Quiet, peaceful, friendly. Fabulous walks around farm. Adequate facilities, we will be back.
Perfect CL
Just what a CL should be. Plus the ease of their own website with availability and booking online. I needed to arrive a bit late so phoned to check if this was OK; not a problem, and because I'd paid in full on booking it was so easy to just arrive and settle in without bothering the owners. My pitches was level (I'm in a small van so maybe a longer one might need some ramping, I'm not sure) and spacious, with ECU at each, and your allocated pitch written on a board at the gate. Directions and signage great too. So peaceful and dark! (unlike floodlit site I'd been on the previous 2 nights!) and some great walks around..I managed a short one up the lane before i had to leave. Hope to return
Heaven
We booked on the CL’s own website- brilliant as you can check availability so easy. The access off the A68 was also incredibly easy, such a perfect stopover if travelling between England & Scotland. The space and views of this CL are quite spectacular, words will not do it justice. Yes, you need to level a bit but nothing too much. You can buy some of the organic lamb meat which is lush. The owners were away the night we stayed but Janet who was looking after things was so friendly welcoming and charming - an absolute delight as was CL. We absolutely loved it there and were sad to only be there one night as we were moving on. So much did we like it we have booked to go back for longer in next few weeks time. It isn’t far from Jedburgh but there didn’t seem any buses on main road A68 as we tend to pitch up our mohome and use cycle/public transport. Hence it could be deemed as isolated if you not using/access car, but that can be a bonus. There certainly seems plenty of walking opportunities that we are looking forward to exploring on our return. Electricity was fine, we were well under 10 unit allowance. One of our favourite CLs.
