Return visit

Just spent another bank holiday weekend at this lovely C L. This time we had the added bonus of being looked after during our stay by chris and pam. The most welcoming friendly wardens you could ever wish to meet. Thankyou both for making our stay perfect. David colette and buster.

Peaceful Location with Great Views

Lovely secluded site in a beautiful location, perfect for dog walking. Good facilities (clean and well maintained w.c and bin areas) with hard standing for three vans plus an additional three on grass. Very well spaced out for privacy. Fabulous walks with the wonderful dog friendly Red Lion pub down the road. Would thoroughly recommend.

One of the best!

We stayed here for a week, June 10 to 18. Laraine was very welcoming and lets everyone do their own thing. Even paying is easy by dropping the money in a box on departure. The grass is cut and PICKED UP regularly, the site is spacious, the services very modern with water, electricity and drainage at each point. The toilets are clean and there is a useful folder of information and leaflets available. An OS map or two would be really helpful for planning walks in the Cotswolds. The local pub the red lion has good real ales and food. The Passage Inn is very good indeed especially if you want a special treat. There is no doubt this site is amongst .the best for a CL.

Bank holiday stay

We have just returned home from staying at passage farm CL. This site is only just over an hour from where we live in Wiltshire which is why we picked it in the first place it will be one we will return to on a regular basis hopefully if there is room. Everything about it was excellent . A fully serviced pitch in a peaceful location with walks all around perfect for us. Thank you mr and mrs jewell

Found a 'Gem' of a site

We spent Xmas here and we're delighted.... We used a hard standing fully serviced pitch which was good considering the wet weather and really windy conditions. The owners are really friendly with time to chat. The site was clean and manicured with the serviced pitches being a real bonus making our stay even more leisurely... The farm tracks were also a bonus for dog walking if there wasn't time to take on one of the four circular walks along the River Severn. For sure we were successful in selecting this site, thank you Mr. & Mrs. Jewell.

Simply Wonderful

We stayed here for 8 nights at the start of October and had the best break this year. You may pay a bit more than usual for a CL site but you do get waste drainage and water on each site as well as hook up, but you also get a well cared for and managed site, with warm friendly welcome, fresh eggs (if your up early enough), excellent dog walking facilities, well stocked fishing lake and more than enough room between units for privacy. As a base to explore the surrounding area it is excellent, although the sat nav will only take you to Arlingham but just watch out for the CL signs down passage lane. Gloucester, Stroud and Slimbridge are with 30 minutes drive, Bath, Bristol and the Forest of Dean within an hour drive, and within 2 hours there is Longleat, Salisbury and the Wye Valley. There are four excellent 2 1/2 hour walks all starting and ending at the village pub but accessible from the site, with free maps from the site and being well signposted. The cost may rise next year but we will still be going back as we have not finished exploring the area. Heaven!

Directions very good, and easy access for a twin axle 27ft Schooner. Very peaceful site, and our ideal no frills environment, just a beautiful setting surrounded by fields, a few chickens and a wonderful fishing lake. Very friendly welcome by the owner. The site is extremely well kept with plenty of space between pitches. Good wifi connection and a treat to hook up direct to mains water on the serviced pitches. Hope to go back soon!

Bliss

Stayed here for a night on the way down to Cornwall. Loved it so much we stayed a further 4 nights on the way home. This site is as near perfect as you can get. Fully serviced with good TV reception and WiFi. Dog loved the different walks everyday. Fresh farm eggs, yum. Fishing lake with some of the largest fish I have ever seen, even managed to catch a few ??. Owners very friendly and helpful in pointing out places of interest and walks etc. It is a long treck for us (500miles) but we are already planning next summer here ?.

Nearly Perfect

What a great CL, great location with lots of nice walks for our dogs. Nice little pub less than a mile away. Lots of space, very flat, serviced pitches, two toilets in a well kept out building & free WiFi. We had 6 very relaxing days here with warm weather and no rain. We will return although big price jump next year from £15.00 to £17:50 a night is disappointing.
