Great 1st CL Visit

This was our 1st ever experience of a CL site.  We were attracted by the location and the peace an tranquility of a 5 van site.  We were delighted to be able to pitch up on hardstanding and found that to be a real bonus after Storm Katie's arrival on Easter Monday.  It's a very spacious site and we liked the fact that each pitch had it's own water and grey waste point.  We had hoped to visit the Old Passage Fish restaurant but didn't manage that, we did however try the Red Lion pub in the village and wow that is certainly recommended.  If you like walking the proximity to the Severn Way is excellent, but be prepared for a 3.5 mile drive if you need a shop. Frampton on Severn is the nearest shop, although there is a Tesco Superstore in Dursley.

Great CL - highly recommended

Spent two nights here, in non stop rain, (and gales), but still thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly owner and well maintained site, with both hardstanding and grass pitches, and clean toilet block. Excellent restaurant five minutes walk away. Great area for walking; the Severn Way and Gloucester canal are both nearby, and it is only a short drive to lovely villages on the Cotswold Way. We will definitely return, as I'm sure it would be really beautiful in the sunshine!

Simply perfect

What a find! Well spaced out pitches with choice of hard standing or grass. Water and grey waste to every pitch and so, so tranquil. The CL is 5 minute stroll to the River Severn and Severn Way. 10 minute walk the other way takes you into the village , where there is a fabulous pub (Red Lion) and a small shop (open Mon-Thurs 9am to noon for post office services and basic essentials). Add these to the many paths and circular walks you can access from the site, what more could you want. Please make sure you try the pub as it is owned by the villagers and serves wonderful, tasty food at very reasonable prices, with some exceptional cask ales. This CL will be hard to beat in our opinion. A credit to it's owners

Lovely tranquil site

Our first visit here.  A great site, fabulous facilities and immaculately kept.  Reasonably close to lots of places but in a very quiet location.  Lots of lovely walks along the Severn river, the Worcester canal and through the countryside.  Great pubs and food nearby. Some lovely villages too. If you want tranquil then this is the place to come! We'll be coming back

Lovely site

A warm welcome to this lovely , peaceful site. Well maintained  and spaced out with hook up and water at each pitch. Hard standing available if required and a clean toilet block easy to access. Lovely location with local pub, restaurant and excellent scenic walks all close by.
