One of the very best CL’s!

This is an absolutely first class CL and Richard and Rachel are lovely hosts. You will meet their black lab Ben who introduces himself to all new arrivals plus the wandering chickens! Water, electricity and drainage on pitches. Two lavatories. Peace and quiet in abundance and lovely views. Only 200 yards from the River Severn with lovely views of Newnham on Severn on the other side. Two good pubs, the Passage Inn on the river and the Red Lion in the village, both within easy walking distance. Excellent dog walks from the site. Excellent base for Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Bristol. Access, although a few miles along narrow roads, is easy and straightforward. One of the best!

Passage Farm CL.

We have been using Passage farm since 2006. Since Rachel and Phil came the site has improved so much and must now be one of the best CL sites in the UK. The hosts are the most helpful and friendly couple you could wish to meet and nothing was to much trouble. Ben the dog and the resident chickens are on hand to make your stay interesting and the peace and quiet make the stay so relaxing you want to come back after every visit. Thank you Rachel and Phil. Fantastic CL

What a great find this is. Passage Farm is everything a CL should be, quiet, well spaced, clean with a great host. Racheal made us feel welcome from arrival, she even went out of her way to see if the local pub was open for us. The pub, Red Lion, is also a fab find. A short walk to the Severn river from the site was also great.

The quietest site we have ever been to !

What a lovely spot, hard to think you are in England - and we got to experience the Severn Bore twice. So calm, great separation between pitches, great dog walks and even the chickens are Dog friendly! You get a lovely warm welcome and the facilities are top notch - easy walk to a lovely local pub. We will be back soon and see it as a lovely getaway, only an hour from where we live but it feels like a world away. Big thanks Rachel and Phil

Peace and Quiet

Friendly welcome by Rachel for a recent enjoyable mid-week break on a great site. Ideal for the self-contained motorhomer although there are toilet facilities if required. Peaceful and good for walking and cycling and lots of fresh air. Thank you for a great site.

A great CL in lovely setting

We have just returned from our first visit to this CL located on a peninsula on a bend of the River Severn. Rachel and Phil, the owners, have invested considerable effort in creating a restful retreat with serviced pitches and well kept grounds. The Red Lion pub, is within walking distance and there are a number of good walks nearby. There are several good canal walks and Slimbridge Wetland Reserve is a short distance away. Passage Farm goes on to our special list of sites to revisit.

What a find

We found this site only days before departing home looking for a stop before a longer journey to the west, for our first outing this year and we were so lucky to land on such a great site, it has everything an old time caravanner wants, each pitch is supplied with water and disposal, the grass is lawn and the views are excellent. add to this the very helpful owners there is nothing else you could possibly want, OH yes the weather, we arrived in rain and after three days we left in rain.but despite that it was a very enjoyable stay and hope to return very soon. If you are only passing on your way west you could do no better than to stay here.

Not enough ticks on my earlier review!

When I wrote my review on 12 August, I meant to give this site 5 ticks across the board, but messed up! To put the record straight, we loved Passage Farm; quiet, nice walks, nice views, nice owners, and decent pub half a mile away. We will definitely return!

Perfect Peace

We found this site a couple of weeks ago, while exploring this peculiar tongue of land formed by a large U shaped bend in the Severn. We decided we must come back and stay here, and we're very glad we did. The site is in fact two fields, the CL itself, and a large field which will become a second CL once it is properly registered by CMC. The clean facilities are shared by both sites. No shower, so we weren't shown it.....! We were on the large field. Its level, with huge pitches. As it was so hot (30 degs plus!) we parked in the shade of the trees. Views of open countryside, peace and quiet. A short walk brings you to the bank of the Severn, and there are circular walks in both directions that bring you back via the village of Arlingham, and the Red Lion. Tuesday night at the pub is pizza night, and very good they were too. Half a mile walk back to to the site. We loved the peace and quiet, the friendly welcome from the owners, and the other worldly feel of the site's location. Even though (or perhaps because..) its only about half an hour from our home, we will definitely be back!
