Top class

Lovely warm welcome in a lovely countryside spot. Campervan my home, so brief stay not really a holiday (hence didn't explore local attractions, etc) but Orchard Lodge a top class staging post on my way north. Loved that water and electricity literally on your doorstep - all you need, experiencing in this Covid era we're onboard self-sufficient.

Great little cl. We were supposed to be there a couple of weeks before on the meadow site but weather was very wet and the owner kindly allowed us to postpone and move to the orchard as it had hardstanding if the weather persisted. Fro the techies, 4g comes and goes as does the site wifi. Its useable but don't rely on it! Tv signal is good Site is walking distance to Bibury with pubs and well worth a wander round including the fish farm. For the geocachers amongst us, a couple of really good circuits to be had. Also made good walks. We will be back!

Perfect CL

We were delighted with a week spent at Orchard Meadow, there is nothing you could be negative about here. Spacious field with views, meticulously kept and easily accessed. Peter and Julie were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Covid precautions were in place, and each pitch is supplied with EHU and own water supply. Wifi is provided although on the furthest pitch from the house it was quite sketchy! Still, that wasn't a big issue and improvements are planned. Handy maps provided which we used for a fabulous walk into Bibury via a back route. We're fairly local so we know the area and can recommend the local scenery and attractions. We particularly recommend Cotswold Sculpture Park near Cirencester. We will certainly be back and can't recommend this site too highly.

A little Gem

What a beautiful well kept and well managed site. Julie and Peter were most welcoming and could not do enough to make sure we were happy and settled. Nothing was too much bother. We stayed in both the Orchard Lodge and the Meadow as we extended our stay. With plenty of space with only 5 pitches within the acre site it was truly tranquil. That is not to say there wasn't any road noise as there was a bit but it was country road noise that disappeared the more we relaxed. On the edge of Bibary Village where you can view the Arlington Cottages as featured in our passports, it is a short walk of 0.6 of a mile with a handy pub with lovely garden on the way. Julie and Peter also provided a couple of maps for short walks from the site. Cannot recommend these sites enough. We will definitely be back!

Tuely Lovely

We have now visited twice, and will definately visit again. Lovely spacious site with a warm welcome without feeling watched by the owners. There are lots of local attractions within easy reach, and you can walk to the local village. Definitely recommend.

Perfect CL!

What more can you ask of a site? Perfectly situated for exploring the Cotswolds. An extremely well kept and spacious field with water/ hook up for each pitch.Peaceful views of the countryside and minimal traffic on the adjacent road. Incredibly warm welcome from Peter with lots of useful information especially on local walks. Great meal at the local pub within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, Peaceful CL

Recently returned from a 5 night stay at this lovely CL . The meadow is kept like a lawn, with all pitches well spaced along one side. All pitches have water and electricity. We were met and welcomed by Julie shortly after arrival who gave us detailed site information along with maps showing a couple of local walks. The area in general is very beautiful and worth exploring. Typical chocolate box corsages can be found in abundance ! Bibary is a beautiful village and is easily walkable from the site either by following the road or by footpaths across the fields. However it does attract many tourists so it is worth going either early morning or late afternoon to see it at its best. A point of Interest - Arlington Terrace in Bibary was used in the GB Passport and is worth a photo or two. I recommend you try ORCHARD MEADOW , you won’t be disappointed ,,

Very peaceful Cl

We have just spent 2 nights at the Meadows Cl it is so peaceful, immaculate grass pitches with electricity and water supply, the owners Peter and Julie are so welcoming with lots of information about the surrounding area with maps of walks and also what is in the village of Bilbury, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didnt want to leave will definitely call again when we are in the area. Well done to both of you for making our stay so brilliant.

Terrific CL

Straight forward to find, just take care if coming through Bibury, there is a narrowing S bend as you enter the village. The site is slightly sloping, neat, regularly mown lawn. Each pitch has it's own water and electricity supply. Pitches are spacious. The owners are welcoming and friendly when you see them. The site is surrounded by beautiful countryside and if you stay off the main roads then pretty villages are everywhere. Good pubs abound and we can recommend The Catherine Wheel, about 3/4 mile from site in Bibury, for food or just a nice garden for a drink. Highly recommend this CL, it's a gem

Lovely CL

Easy to find, straightforward access, friendly welcome and no dogs, which is a big positive (we're not all dog lovers). Pitches are reasonably level, each with water and electricity supply. Good views of surrounding countryside and plenty of local walks. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
