This site is fabulous. It is beautifully kept by the owners Alison and Brian, who are lovely and so helpful. Each pitch is fully serviced with it's own recycling bins. There are lovely places to explore. Blists Hill Victorian Town was really good. If you want to stay in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, this is the place to stay. We will be coming here again.
Well this site really does have the ‘wow factor’. Brian and Alison have created the most beautiful site we have ever been fortunate enough to stay on. From the initial phone call, made after a last minute decision to get away, everything was just so straightforward. The site was easy to find with good access and we were greeted on arrival by Brian and shown to our very level pitch. Nothing has been omitted, each pitch has its own EHU point, water tap, refuse and recycling storage, outside light, and grey waste facility. The pitches are well spaced and the grass areas and garden are immaculate. A totally peaceful and quiet site which we would not hesitate to visit again.
New to caravaning, this was our first trip out. On arrival in the rain Brian was there to welcome us and even offered to help us set up. The site was beautiful, well kept, attention to detail incredible. Everything has been thought about from a hose pipe to wash yr dirty dog off with to bird feeders which attract an array of different birds. Just stunning! We had a lovely few days away and thankfully the weather changed for the good....a beautiful area with lots to see and do, will definitely be back!!!
We have just spent 5 nights over Easter at this wonderful site. An extremely well looked after, peaceful, adults only site in the countryside. The owners, Alison and Brian could not be more helpful if they tried. The hard standing pitches are large and fully serviced, with new (still small whilst growing) hedges between the pitches. There are very few CL sites that we have visited (and we have been to a lot) that are as good as this one. Definitely one to put on the return to list.
We spent a week at this lovely CL and highly recommend it. Beautifully maintained site, good size hardstanding full serviced pitches. Easy access and warm welcome.
We enjoyed visiting Much Wenlock, Ironbridge, Blist Hill, Attingham NT, Shrewsbury and Ludlow. All within easy reach. Breakfasts in Much Wenlock at both ‘Tea on the Square’ and ‘Barrow St Cafe’ were excellent.
Warm welcome at George & Dragon and Wenlock Edge Inn. Can recommend the pies and other delicious fare from ‘Pig & Pie’ in Much Wenlock.
What a fabulous CL. Great location, well thought out pitches/facilities and an immaculately kept site. Brian and Alison could not be more helpful and pleasant. The site is very peaceful but within easy reach of great walks and places to visit and a real bonus is the ‘dark sky’ location with no light pollution to spoil the scene. We will definitely return for another visit soon.
Beautiful, quiet site - perfect for a relaxing break. Warm welcome from Brian and Alison. One of the tidiest, prettiest sites we've ever stayed at. Quiet bridleway to walk the dog direct from the site. Lots of places of interest within a short distance - we enjoyed walks/visits along Wenlock Edge, Long Mynd, Ironbridge, Benthall Hall and Kinver Edge Rock Houses.
We liked it so much we've booked again for later in the year 🙂
My Wife and I have just spent six nights at Firs Cottage. This CL is an absolute credit to Brian and Alison.
The access is easy into the gated CL. We were warmly greeted by Brian, who postponed his lunch to make sure we had everything we needed to get set up ! The pitches are ample , all hard standing and fully serviced! The CL itself is very peaceful and superbly maintained. We don’t have a dog but they are well catered for, and easily walked from the site. The surrounding area has many good walks, and the Pubs and cafes all seem to cater for both walkers and dogs ! Much Wenlock is a charming village and a visit or visits to the Butcher and Pie shop are a must ! We also visited Ironbridge which is very close by and worth a visit !
Our Thanks for letting us stay
First trip out of the year just to check everything was OK with the Moho... it wasn't. Significant leak from bathroom tap.
Site owner Brian was more than helpful in trying to assist us in getting it mended... or finding someone who could.
It wasn't to be - and Salop Leisure (don't bother with them) were the polar opposite in attitude and help.
Due to our own on-board water issues we missed site washing up and toilets, but the site was pretty and pristine. If we'd been able to sit still and have a relaxing time it would have been a nice place to do it.
