Lovely Site

Lovely CL Site, with good views. Horses in field next to pitch very friendly and kept the children amused, plenty of space for children to run and play. Welcome by owner was lovely, very friendly and helpful, immediately showed us all the facilities (which are fantastic, lovely clean warm shower and toilet block!). We went out a few times, to Bickleigh and Topsham, but found ourselves more than happy to just return to the site and relax. Highly recommend and will return to this site again at earliest opportunity. Husband said "highly recommend", 10yr old daughter "Fantastic!". No need to say more :-)

What a fabulous cl

Just returned from 2 weeks at this lovely CL. Friendly and helpful hosts nothing too much trouble. Immaculately cut grass and beautiful shower and toilet facilities. Slightly sloping but this was not a problem. Make sure you leave A38 at second exit for Chudleigh Knighton not Chudleigh. Easy access. Look forward to a further visit.

Super CL

Lovely peaceful site, very easy access, friendly helpful owners. Spotless new loos & shower. Slightly sloping, but this wan't a problem with blocks. Views & plenty of space. Will be very happy to return. Agree with the previous comments.

CL delight

An excellent site..great views, great loos, spotless shower and truly friendly hosts. Bovey Tracey is a hilly walk from the site but well worth exploring and the NT Parke estate offers excellent river walking. The Tourist information site provides a useful and interesting pamphlet on the Templer Way which makes for a fascinating 18 mile walk divided into shorter circular walks. Alternatively sit back and just enjoy the spendid views and friendly ambience of the site!

Best CL around

I have to say the best CL site we have stayed on. We received a warm welcome on arrival. As the ground is still damp we were unable to tow the caravan to our pitch. Another member with a 4x4 towed our van onto the pitch, which we were really grateful for. The owner towed the van off with his tractor and wasn't put out by this at all. The shower block is wonderful and really clean. (I had trouble getting my 8 year old daughter out of the shower). There are lovely views from the site and horses in the field next to the caravans. We will definitely be coming back again, I just hope we get a date available as the pitches do get booked up. Thanks very much for a fantastic weekend. Tim and Michelle

Lovely quiet site with best loos ever

Very good approach with no hazzards (unless like us you take the wrong exit off the main Exeter road and drive through Chudleigh itself!! ) Not to be advised! Take the next junctioin off signed Chudleigh Knighton. A friendly welcome awaits. The site is well managed, lawned, clean and tidy with excellent toilet facilities for which you pay £1.00 extra, and well worth it. The facilities are spotless with hot water, hand washing gel, and a loo roll! The area overlooks a paddock with four horses so there is always something to watch with distant views of Haytor and Dartmoor. We were very impressed and will hopefully be returning. The site is open all year.

The Perfect Spot

This is a quiet and peaceful spot, but it is easy to get to and easy to get to see all the area has to offer. Walking and cycling are my thing and you couldn't wish for more choice. A couple of minutes down the road is the local Devon Wildlife site spread over 5 sites including two large wildlife ponds - you can get lost here for an hour or so. Within a few minutes drive are Henock Reservoirs, Parke NT, Haldon Forest, Stover Park, and of course Dartmoor. The owners are friendly and helpful and keep the site neat and tidy, the grass is always just the right length. We just keep coming back, as do a lot of other people it seems, it's just like coming home!

Best shower ever !

As CL sites go you wouldnt find better facilities like the shower and toilet block in some of these larger sites where you pay double the price.. Friendly and peacefull what more could you ask for.
