Great CL in a lovely area

I have stayed at a lot of CL's over the years and this one is up there with the best. A nice spacious field - a bit sloping in places but not a problem. EHU points are well spaced out to give you plenty of freedom to pitch up. The shower/laundry facilities are excellent - a real surprise on a CL. There is WiFi if you need it. The owners made us very welcome and when I go back to Devon this CL will be on my short list. A lovely part of Devon to explore and easy access to the M5, 3 or 4 miles away.

A wonderful place!

We have just spent a really lovely week at this CL. It's the best one we've ever stayed on and it's made even more special by the friendly atmosphere created by the owners Annie and Andy. Annette and Mike , Evesham

Devonshire paradise

We stayed here in August 2013 for the first time. We had a fabulous time, as we are always looking for peace and quiet this site ticked that box. The welcome we received was lovely and we were shown around. The facilities are 5 star and are spotlessly clean and maintained. The field is better kept than my lawn at home (very jealous) I even offered to mow this on the big boys toy lawn mower. We will defiantly be staying here again. Danny & Kerina Southampton

A Great CL

We stayed in August 2013 for the first time.We were made to feel very welcome by the owner Annie. A lovely site with spotless toilets and shower in on a pleasant field with mown grass(Grass collected). Ideal for the Dartmoor, Torquay and as a centre for touring Devon. We will be back. Well Done

Just come back from having 5 nights at East Dunley, when we got there Annie come out to greet us and inform us where everything were. The slope isn't to much and the grass is kept short and I could use my wheelchair without any bother, the amenities (Shower/toilets) are very clean, a warm shower and biggish shower cubicle. Very peaceful and within touching distance from anywhere you want to go. It is the first time we have been there and will not be the last, enjoyed ourselves very much. On leaving Andy and Annie went to great lengths to inform us about an accident on the northbound M5. Thank you Annie and Andy for a great holiday, keep up the great work at East Dunley. Happy

Excellent site

We have been members for about 15 years and booked into East Dunley early in the year as part of our holiday this year. The experience was better than any site that we had been on before. The welcome and the facilities are the best we have known on a CL, also the price was less than a lot of sites with only a tap and drains.

Holiday 2013 East Dunley

Excellent peaceful site. Very warm welcome from Annie on arrival. Spotless, first class shower and toilet facilities and laundry room. Wi-Fi if required. Friendly horses in adjacent field. Saw two stags and a doe running across field two fields away. Local facilities very good. Claycutters Arms, pub/restaurant, just minutes down the road. Chinese takeaway in Bovey Tracey is excellent - large portions and reasonably priced. Marble Factory well worth a visit as is Trago Mills. Brixham, Paignton and Torquay not too far. Would return to site in future. Thanks Annie and Andy for a great relaxing two weeks.

Excellent all round

We picked this site for access to Dartmoor, but it proved to be much better than anticipated. Dartmoor is minutes away, and with a great week of weather we walked it until we dropped. However, in the evening we had run out to other sites and attractions, all without resorting to using our NT membership (with good options available). However the site added to the enjoyment of the visit, a nice patch of land shielded by trees at one side and a view of Dartmoor through a few trees the other side. Very clean and good quality facilities (shower/toilets), are probably the best we have used on our 50 CL visits - well done Annie as well as other facilities for washing/drying which we did not use. I would say one of the top 3 sites we have visited - nice people too.
