Excellent 👍

Excellent site for peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings. Easy 20 mins walk into the lovely village of Framlingham. (With castle worth visiting) We happened to be at the CL on Friday night when the owners do pizza in their own hut...delicious thin based with tasty topping. Would definitely stay again.

A really good CL

We were welcomed by Mollie on arrival and she was concerned that, due to the recent heavy rain, we were happy with the site. It was absolutely fine with all the facilities in pristine condition. Framlingham is an easy 20min walk away and the coast a short car trip away. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed every minute. Mollie came over to see us when we left and made sure we were OK during our stay. You couldn't ask for a better host or CL.

Recommend black barn such a beautiful site areas left for wild flowers and nature lots of bird of prey action to watch. Mollie is friendly and helpful. Pizzas on a Friday night best I’ve ever eaten very tasty. Only booked two nights wish it had been more we will definitely return.

A fantastic night's stay!

Have just returned from a lovely stay at Black Barn - very close to Framlingham with lots to do. A beautiful picturesque site in lovely surroundings. Mollie was really helpful, sorting out loads of stuff for us. She even organised great weather for the stay! A lovely place and already looking forward to going back!

A gem of a site with lovely owners

We spent 2 nights at Black Barn. We loved it from the moment we parked up in our motorhome. Small and friendly. Access to water, grey waste and chemical toilet was very straightforward. Mollie and Richard are super friendly hosts. Being easy walking distance into Framlingham is a real plus, and the reason we booked the site. Dog walking was good - just a quick hop over the road. There is an information point which contains lots of good information about Framlingham, walks and the local area. Fully recommend the site.

What a fabulous site.

Mollie and Richard were so friendly and welcoming. Delicious pizza on Tue Friday night in a beautiful location with superb sunset views. Facilities clean, tidy and well looked after. Had a great day in Framlingham and then another day on the Suffolk coast walking from Dunwich to Walberswick. Can recommend the Station pub in Framlingham. Mollies communication was excellent ahead of the stay. It had rained for the week ahead of our visit and she still found away to get us safely on and off the grass pitch. Will be back.

Great stay

We stayed for 4 nights. Mollie was very friendly and chatty. Great access for Framlingham. Plenty to see in this lovely little market town. As Detectorist's fans we had a day in Framingham and at the castle. 20 minutes or so to the coast. We weren't there for Friday night pizza night. Great for dogs. Great for cycling.

A little gem of a site

Lovely little site on the edge of Framlingham. A warm welcome from Mollie and delicious pizza on Friday night. The town, castle and mere were delightful and just a short walk from the site. We were disappointed with the lack of buses in the area but unfortunately this is a sign of the times. There are plenty of quiet lanes in the area for cyclists. Birdie
