Arrived on the 22nd September for our 2 night stay. We received a very a very pleasant welcome & perfect reception including a guided tour of the facilities, pointing out the many local attractions & places to visit. The site is spacious with a good range of pitches to choose from, most with gorgeous views. A very relaxing visit all round and absolutely perfect hosts to boot.
Highly recommended.
an excellent site.
An excellent site well run and maintained, close to local amenities. we will be returning.

Lovely peaceful site
I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, having booked this site at short notice using their own online booking system. It was easily accessible from the A525. I was able choose where to pitch and the site was on two levels. The ground was fairly flat on well mown grass ( they also had grass covered hard standing pitches). I was able to buy Elsan green toilet fluid from the owners as their waste disposal does not cater for the blue ( this pointed out on their website). During my stay I managed to visit Ellesmere, I travelled to Bridgemere garden centre and also to Chirk where I caught a train to the North Wales coast. The weather was good which made my short break all the more enjoyable.

Lovely site
Lovely site , peaceful and quiet, well organised, helpful and friendly. Just what we like so will return at a later date.
A great site, away from it al yet still close to any amenities
This is a great site, which is peaceful and tranquil. We had a great few days here and cannot wait to return! The owners are friendly and helpful and helped us to choose the best pitch for our needs.
Enjoyable relaxing stay
We stayed here in June 21 for one week. Great communication from the site before arrival. Lovely spacious site. Ian was very covid secure, very helpful upon arrival. Good base for visiting different areas . Will definitely go on our to return list
Outstanding site, peace and tranquility
Beautiful site..plenty of space between vans. Greated by staff and had choice of pitch plus all the information we needed.
Our dogs loved the Dingle walk. Close proximity to various places of interest. Will definitely be booking again x
Fantastic welcome
This was the first time we have had the advantage of a video of the road access within a couple of miles of a site and was very useful. This was then enhanced with detailed emails which helped us to plan our visit, and a friendly and thorough welcome from Ian to an emaculate site with fabulous views was second to none. We could not have asked for more from Ian and Janet and this site will definitely go on our top 10 list!

Lovely site.
We stayed here for four nights in June 2021. Janet greeted us on arrival and showed us where we could pitch the caravan. Plenty of choice of pitches, each with their own dedicated water tap assigned. Two areas for elsan point, grey waste and recycling. The Dingle is a lovely dogs walk area which leads to footpaths across the fields. Very close to Ellesmere town which is very quaint. A fair selection of shops there and only a short walk to the mere, which is lovely. Top tip! Park by the co-op for 30p and hour and walk to the mere. Parking closer to the mere is a £1 and hour!. In all a good well kept site and we would be happy to return. Just wish the weather was as good.
IF YOU WANT PEACE AND QUIET THIS IS THE PLACE.
We stayed at Birch Hill last week for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ian made us very welcome and walked us around the site so we could choose a spot that suited us. Each outfit is allocated their own fresh water tap and because of the spot we chose could run our waste into the adjoining field. This is a very pleasant site very clean and spacious and the views and sunsets were great. Ellesmere has a lovely mere and we enjoyed watching the narrow boats coming and going on the canal. Ian gave us plenty of information on the surrounding area which we made good use of.
This is definitely a site we will be returning to and we were sorry to leave last week.
