PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

My edit didn't work, I added "overall" to the situation as I'm not just thinking about the forum area.

On several occasions I have tried to edit posts because the WiFi has "failed"here at FM  And it never appears on the post

It will appear, but it will be intermittent.

However the general faults are still not being addressed.

While it would be nice to have a good search engine, I would put it bottom of the list. Better to get the functionality right first after all you can use Google and other search engines already out there.

Well Peedee, you and I know we can use Google to find things on here but if you use the Club web site as you would use other commercial sites you would expect to search for the information you need on the self same site. If I went onto John Lewis or Amazon I would expect to find what I need on their own sites.

It would appear that Grimstead Towers have no intention of improving this CT section of their website. There have been multiple problems with this CT offering and it has never worked properly since it was first bolted on to the main site.   Now that they are also running a Facebook section in parallel with CT, the correct Management decision would be to ditch CT and allocate those resources to improving the main site.

I don't use Facebook and have no intention of ever doing so ... But I am convinced that for the good of the CMC's reputation, this dreadful piece of flawed software called CT should be scrapped.  For anybody who still wants a forum , there are many great alternative caravan related forums on the web.

cool

There seems to be a delay in the edit function. I made a typo in a review I had written, which I edited but did not seem to take. However later, probably the next day it had been corrected. Not saying that is acceptable but that is what seems to be happening.

On the search facility it is most strange. I put in Red Pennant. You would expect to have a series of topics show up at the top of the listing with details of the Club Insurance. What I get is a list of CL's with red in their title!!!

David, I don't think the main search facility has ever worked except to provide a list of sites connected to the words you enter.

Do we have lift off? I think the recent faults have been corrected?

Test edit to see if your are right, Davidwink

It seems to have worked!!!!
