PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

I am really annoyed that the club has not said what happened or said sorry, too much to ask?

It's possible that they are still investigating what went wrong. Better to wait for a more complete explanation?

Don't defend bad manners, David. A simple "sorry, we're investigating" wouldn’t go amiss. It was the same last week with the edits and likes - complete silence.

I'm on my phone now, the only thing that can get me onto the web site. I hope we get a response soon.

I had the same problem. Sent a message at 8.30 via facebook to ask if it was me or the site. Response at 10.30 said it was the site but OK now. It wasn't for me. However I cleared ehw browser cahe and restated the browser at around 11.30 and all OK

+1

As TW says a simple:

we are sorry to our members who experienced difficulties with our website last night. The technical problems has now been fixed. Apologies again

Club please feel free to copy and paste that!

It's poor customer relations to ignore those using a web site, I felt sorry for anyone trying to book a site last night. I can't think of any other big organisations who would not issue an apology or if possible give advance warning of a shut down. The club doesn't have to issue an explanation, but an apology is important.

My sincere apologies that you have been experiencing issues with accessing the Club's website. This should now be fixed but please let me know if you continue to experience problems.

Have the problems of last week been fixed as well, Rowena? I think they have but no one from the club has said a word about it.

I'm certain that 'FinkAngel' from IT who popped in to introduce himself in August will appear soon with an explanation👍. He did mention then that his "Staff" colours would be put onto his avatar later that day, but apparently his avatar is still blank frown
