But the staff have to be manning reception continuously from 9.00am perhaps to admit units, so do they employ extra staff to fulfill the duties required to run the site if reception is manned (or womanned if that is a word )?

... and if so, cannot this be done at more sites that have a larger turnover!

I'm not bothered either way, but would like to know why there is a variance.

thanks to M I see that when you mean you pop on for a couple of minutes occasionally you mean that you personally pop on occasionally each hour! Five times between 2 and 3 pm today, or even six times in 62 minutes.

Thanks for showing an interest Corners. I am gratified to find out that I am so popular that there are a handful of you so interested in the minutiae of my contributions that they are pleased to share times and dates so that others can benefit from my wisdom. I can only put it down to my honesty, good nature and the fact that I am never wrong.
