I can't see the original sticky so will start a new thread.  Saw nearly 30,000 knot on Breydon Water yesterday.  Great weekend at Minsmere, Otter, Kingfishers, Bitterns, lots of Marsh Harriers

Ok you got me intrigued. Got the hang of post processing and an empty bin perhaps?

Great photos again, BM and glad that you got to see the Snowy Owl, OP.

We're down at Alkborough and saw lots of Curlew, Geese of numerous varieties, Shelduck on the estuary mud, Fieldfares, Little Egrets, Skylarks and a pair of Stonechats, as well as stacks of waders. Heard what I took to be a Bearded Tit but didn't manage to spot it.

BM...Just gutted looking at your SEO's.

Thinking I would give my right arm for pictures like those and then I thought, 'oops camera hand.

Lovely pictures.

Thanks GL

This little fella or Fellaess said it would hang around for a few days if you have the time and the van is ready.  There are 2 CLs within half a mile of their spot and I will happily show you where.

Only a few miles to Bristol much less painful than the right arm

I spent a couple of hours yesterday waiting for the Barn Owl to turn up, but a no show. However the Short eared gave me about an hour of enjoyment. Only four again and they are used to parked cars and cameras now, they sometimes fly within about 10 metres of the road. There has been up to 7 reported.

Looks like more spawn on the way as our Frogies did a wooing go.

Beautiful photos, again! I think I know where the CLs are as we keep meaning to visit ourselves. We drive past the area a lot. smile

Had about 500-600 redwings and fieldfares going over the house this am in about 3 groups to far up for taking photos so off to their summer breeding grounds and the bramblings have gone as well.

Couple of shots of the Snowy owl at RSPB Snettisham yesterday.  She sat with her back to us and kept swivelling her head to disdainfully survey the crowd of 80+ onlookers.

Note to self - always use a tripod in windy, showery weather
