I can't see the original sticky so will start a new thread.  Saw nearly 30,000 knot on Breydon Water yesterday.  Great weekend at Minsmere, Otter, Kingfishers, Bitterns, lots of Marsh Harriers

Great photos, Oneputt, what a beautiful bird!

We're off to Norfolk next Tuesday for a week, hope it's still about. 😊

It left Snettisham at about 6.30 last night flying South.  I haven’t seen any reports of it's whereabouts today.

Normally here any walk on the marshes I would expect to see dozens of little Egrets but the last 4 days only saw 2.  Wonder if they were blown inland by the beast from the east.

Same from me. Definitely not bird spotting weather today, hope it's better tomorrow as I intend going down onto Alkborough Flats.

A few unusual birds seen on West Kirby Marine lake today.

3 male and 2 female Scaup and 8 Brent Geese, which had flown off when we returned less than an hour later.

Had a female Black Redstart here today and then a male appeared about an hour ago could be our residents from last year so Spring is on the way, also a warbler was about but to flighty to see which one.
