Myself and others have been having a bit of a "misunderstanding" with our local council over a bus stop that is a lot of the time inaccesable to buses because of thoughtless parking, well we had a letter a couple of weeks ago to say work was going to be done to improve all the bus stops in our area for easier access ,last week the "problem" bus stop was improved,by putting in a raised kerb to ease access for mobillity scooters, wheel chairs and pushchairs, the only problem is they have still not installed the parking restrictions that we have been asking for ,so the buses still cannot access the stop, and today we have recieved an email  from said council that there are no plans to restrict parking in that areaYell

Arrived earlier for our 8 night stay at Penrhos. All set up, dogs walked, sitting in glorious early evening sunshine so the next item on the agenda must surely involve a corkscrew! Happy

It's been scorching all day

Had a good day in the garden  -- A bit of lumberjacking, A bit of harvesting the veg and a long nap on the Lafuma.

Only time we moved out of the garden was to take the dog for his walks.

Really relaxing hobby Gardening Smile

Went to Eastbourne today......what a genteel seaside town!

The floral displays were magnificent.

Never seen so many walking frames and electric wheelchairs though......

How nice that people with mobility problems are still able to get out and about and enjoy their surroundings.

Spent the day with a friend near Andover, beautiful views over Salisbury Plain, we could see for miles. Stonehenge looked busy! We had a nice cream team in Stockbridge and took the dogs for a walk along the River Test, a good day out! Smile
