The Pointless Page

Metheven, I was off work for six weeks last year because of a fractured wrist, when earnings came to a stop, yet I still managed to keep up payments in accordance with the agreements because I still had income from my pensions. My pensions will get paid to me regardless of ill health or any other unfortunate curcumstances. It is reliable income that gives me not such a pointless future!

Furthermore, my debt is debt with a future repayment plan. I know when I get my seasonal pitch, I will no longer have site fees to pay because a whole years site fees has already been paid out of that debt. So the savings in site fees will enable me to have extra funds available to service that debt. Also savings in fuel cost on the Electric Smart will free up more available funds.

Good to hear you have a plan Malcolm.

Yes, Kj. A plan that will effectively increase my income because the drop money and tips plus some of my wages will no longer be spent on petrol.

I can't comment too much on that Panorama video because it was slanted in order to make the banks look bad and perhaps we didn't, therefore, get the whole story but I did get the impression that all these customers had to do, was talk to the bank and some arrangement could have been reached instead of becoming suicidal over it.

I don't blame the bank for refusing to talk to a BBC panorama reporter that was there to use eveerything that they said against them and thereby give the bank bad publicity that coukd adversely affect their business.

One thing recent history has shown us is that the banks are far from blameless. 🤔

I'm quite happy with the service I've been getting from the bank.
