Excessive site fees

Just returned from Chester Fair Oaks site, one night, £31.30 !!, I nearly choked on my dentures, It was our first trip out this year, only able to book something last minute.Ok, apparently, our over night stay was classed as still in  the 'High' season, but £31.30 per night (two adults) to stay in my own caravan is ridiculous. The club is in danger of  killing the goose that layed the golden egg. it's easy sometimes to forget that we have also paid a membership fee for the privilege of being charged so much.

Again, as I have said many times, I have reduced the number of times I use CC sites considerably.....at a time when we are taking more and more holidays in the caravan.

I feel that this (together with explaining my actions on here) is somewhat better than to simply keep paying the ever increasing (and now well out of all poportion) charges.

But I guess it still takes some people a long while to see the obvious.......?

Write your comments here...It seems so Ian. Have you notried realised that people realise that the CC offers just what they want and are therefore prepared to pay for It?

The star rating is a CC star rating and only relates to and compares different CC sites.  At least that's what I've always believed. So therefore a 5 star CC site could be a 2 star or 3 star site in the real world of the Leisure industry.

Write your comments here... basically all this waffle is the posters way of trying to convince other CC member to his opinions & values he places on CC sites & amenities.

Unfortunately the posters way out of touch with what most members are more than happy to accept & will continue to use CC sites regardless of the constant bombardment of nonsense talk by a number of the same people on here who think that by some miracle their waffle will some how change things.

Get real , get a life & do the what's best for you , it's your choice  , as it's mine to continue to use CC sites as & when I think fit & at the prices I'M HAPPY WITH  & no amount of negative posts will convince me otherwise.

Agree, by reading some posts it appears that going to club sites is somehow mandatory and hence the need to complain about the site fees, if you (one) thinks thinks they are too high, just don't go.

Compass362.......do you believe that making increasingly rude and offensive comments about other members and their views, will somehow make you more 'right'?

Quite the reverse, I'm afraid.

where were the  increasingly rude and offensive comments?

A rational counter arguement would have been better rather than a comment like this?
