Excessive site fees

Just returned from Chester Fair Oaks site, one night, £31.30 !!, I nearly choked on my dentures, It was our first trip out this year, only able to book something last minute.Ok, apparently, our over night stay was classed as still in the 'High' season, but £31.30 per night (two adults) to stay in my own caravan is ridiculous. The club is in danger of killing the goose that layed the golden egg. it's easy sometimes to forget that we have also paid a membership fee for the privilege of being charged so much.

Seasonal pitch fees are very good value. That's why they get over subscribed.

Excessive site fee's ........never , here at Chatsworth this week the site is rammed , & it's chocker right up to Christmas , so much of a myth as block booking is ........

CC take the line that peak season charges are the true rates and those at other times of the year are actually discounted.

But do they and where does it say such? They mark their highest prices as Peak, which suggest to me that they are above the norm. They also give a mid week discount at low and mid periods, so is this a discount on a discounted price?

...I do not think the cc or any other organisation need to say that the peak price is the norm, and all other prices are discount ,as all forms of "holidays" are following the same menu
