Welcome to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Ever since we came together as a group of outdoor enthusiasts 110 years ago, our Club has continued on a journey of discovery. It's time for us to make some changes for the better by redefining who we are to help you get the most of the great outdoors.

I’m sure you all have lots of questions, please post your feedback and queries in this thread.

What does our new logo mean? We created a video to explain how we created it:

My wife and I have spoken to a few of our caravanning friends and we all unanimously hate the new nothing logo and the new name .How much more can our ruling body embarrass the membership of what we thought of as our Caravan Club ? What a waste of money !

Instead of changing our name a new club should have formed as the Motorhome Club with dedicated sectors on our sites to leave us caravaners to enjoy some peace from these travelling lorries and Vans!,!,,,

"I was a member of the caravan club nineteen years...now I'm in the caravan & motorhome club"

"Really old chap...don't blame you for jacking them in, I did several years ago, started attracting the wrong sort, what what ! "

PS does this mean I won't be getting my twenty years sticker tongue-out

Was this the chairman that drove his new caravan up the slope on the TV  programme  to find the Champion Caravan driver and ripped the back of his van off in front of the cameras. Sounds like a very thorough  and  thinking guy. Sg.

Very unlikely to have been his caravan.  There are apparently "staff caravans" available. Could be where the dealers get these year old caravans from - the ones that look like they have seven years use.

What I don't understand about that debaucle is his comment about "having over a thousand pounds of Wedgewood in there". At around 500kg that must surely have put the poor 'van well over its towing load limit.

Could you break that down into anything factual please?

Rochelle, maybe to help ease the very many unhappy members of our so called "club" YOU SHOULD PUBLISH THE FEEDBACK YOU CLAIM YOU HAVE HAD FROM MEMBERS AND LET US ALL SEE WHAT WAS ASKED.  I doubt you can do this as like me so many MEMBERS have not seen or heard of the Feedback..... as they  say up north"Put your money where your mouth is " LET'S HAVE THE EVIDENCE....

The simple logo's carry a lot of weight in the world of marketing and advertising.  You only have to look at the power of the McDonalds and Apple logos.

Rebranding isn't a bad thing and lets face it, this campaign had got everyone talking, even bickering.  Which makes me chuckle.

Yes there will be some re-branding costs, but I'm sure that this will have been carefully considered.

We have been both caravan members and now more recently motorhome members.  The club is still heavy weighed towards caravan owners.  Motorhomes don't have the option to use multiple waste or even fresh water points thorough ought most sites, but we still like the club.  We hardly ever use the toilet facilities and so try to use more CL's these days.

Anyway nice to recognise both Caravan & Motorhomes equally.

Happy holidays.
