Welcome to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Ever since we came together as a group of outdoor enthusiasts 110 years ago, our Club has continued on a journey of discovery. It's time for us to make some changes for the better by redefining who we are to help you get the most of the great outdoors.

I’m sure you all have lots of questions, please post your feedback and queries in this thread.

What does our new logo mean? We created a video to explain how we created it:

Hi JVB,

The change in name and logo were based on your feedback and in consultation with your representatives on the Committee. Together, we’re embarking on a journey of investment in the future of our Club.

Nice refresh.  I only joined the CC last year after buying a motorhome. Before this my wife and I were campers, mostly light weight cycle tourists.

I like the new logo and the name change shows inclusivity.

I've no history with the organisation, so all I am after is the high standards that come with a CC (CMC) site.

Horrible logo and members money wasted with a pointless re-brand - Perhaps time to transfer to the Caravan and Camping Club ! If something isn't broke it certainly doesn't need fixing !! Been a member for 33 years, and am very unhappy with this change.

Further to my last, perhaps these responsible should consider a change of employment, or perhaps the club should make that decision for them !

Dear oh dear !

I thought we were members and it was our Club - apparently not.

... we are not customers. It is our club. I think 'some' might need reminding of this sometimes. What a load of money wasting tosh.

Over the last few years the CC seems to have spent lots of money updating the old darker green signs at a lot of sites, to new lighter green models. Presumably that is all wasted now as they will have to be changed yet again. The only ones who seem to benifit from these rebrandings are the companies who produce these signs and headed note paper etc.

Absolute waste  of time and money and for no benefit to the membership as far as I can see. Would someone like to tell me the total cost of this madness, and the tangible benefits.

It's a name and a logo. Is it really worth getting het up about with talk of jumping ship? Surely it's the on site experience that counts for most?

It will sure take time to get used to the new logo , but it's nice us motorhomers now have an identity within the new logo ,
