Welcome to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Ever since we came together as a group of outdoor enthusiasts 110 years ago, our Club has continued on a journey of discovery. It's time for us to make some changes for the better by redefining who we are to help you get the most of the great outdoors.

I’m sure you all have lots of questions, please post your feedback and queries in this thread.

What does our new logo mean? We created a video to explain how we created it:

To be fair, organisations don't ask customers prior to a rebrand. I rebranded my company last year, I didn't ask my customers if they were ok with this, I just did it.

Get real!

I thought we were members and it was our Club - apparently not.

come on ,stop all this negativity , ok ,it's a name change ,but does it stop us getting out there and having fun ??????

Posted on 21/02/2017 21:45

Sorry Huskydog. It's not negativity it's OUR money the club is spending and there are more deserving cases.

It will certainly upset the site wardens when, as in the video, we light open fires to cook on or make a brew.

I trust we did not pay anyone for the re branding - waste of money if we did!

Oh well, on to the next financial disaster, by the way did they tell everyone that club subs will be going up to pay for these vanity projects?

I am fine with the club spending "my" money on progress and looking forward , after all my ansestors used to live in a cave and hunt for their food , I'm glad they looked forward and moved on

People seem to be frightened of change , it's not going to stop me booking sites and secondly there are other clubs ,sites and organisations out there

Its always good to see we are keeping up with necessary changes. Can you tell me how much this has cost us and exactly how it is being financed. Is the club borrowing money to fund all or any part of the changes.

Rochelle, you quote "...The change in name and logo were based on your feedback and in consultation with your representatives on the Committee."

Why then has the executive of the club not listened to members who complained when irons and ironing boards were withdrawn and broken spin dryers were never replaced?

If it ain't broke - don't fix it. Was this change really necessary (I speak as a motorhomer)? For all the fancy video I'm afraid I think the logo is crap. Should have been at least some consultation with members. Badly done Caravan Club.

Hi Bakers,

We'll be making the announcement at 10.30 at the NEC, and streaming the announcement live on Facebook. I'll then upload the video to Club Together.

Some might say you're getting a sneak preview wink

Will it be cheaper now that motor home has been added, and who is to pay for new badges that is goin to change, and the sites signage, and there stationary, and there uniforms, or is that being too negative to some members when the price of being a member will get more expensive to implement the change, as everything comes at a price, members be prepared for an increase to support the change.
