This was our very first trip abroad with e caravan and this was a lovely quiet site. Situated a nice easy 20 min bike ride from Ommen it was perfect for us, Ommen is a lovely place just along the river. The owner was really welcoming and helpful with advice and info about the area and things to do. Big thank you to him.
Fantastic Site and Area
The site is in a beautiful area. We decided to visit purely because it sounded interesting and future reviews were good. It was worth the visit and we would definitely recommend this site to others. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a mix of weather but there was enough to do in the area so that on rainy days we were still busy! A day visit to Giethoorn is worth it, although its touristy and busy it is beautiful. We visited with two children aged 8 & 10, they loved the park and playing in the river. We had a small inflatable paddle boat and it was safe enough for them to be on the river and row up and down. Cycling in the area is wonderful, we rented our bikes from the site and visited local towns. A fantastic addition to the Caravan Club, we loved it!
Heaven
Pease, quiet and the most friendly site we have ever visited. Fantastic food and service in the restaurant at a reasonable price. Facilities are fine but would benefit from a make over but adequate for our needs. The ancient town of zwolle was well worth a visit surrounded by a moat with a nice shopping centre. We parked motorhome on the outskirts and walked in some 15-20 min. Not far away is the little Venice village Giethoorn which is very busy but very pretty. Defiantly would be a must if we revisit the area again. Highly recommended
Bliss
Our holiday booking was based on the Caravan Club review for this site and it did not disappoint. Admittedly the good weather also contributed to our two week stay!
The welcome afforded us by the Site Owner and staff was appreciated.
We fell in love with the surrounding countryside enjoying the amazing cycle paths that are accessed from the site entrance. If you are looking for a place to unwind, chill out and recharge, this is it!
