Lovely stay

Hubby and I stayed between Xmas & new year. Very helpful warden. Lovely site. Nice showers / toilets kept clean at all times. Peaceful festive caravanning. Close to York town, shopping outlet with every shop could could ever need. Enjoyed this stay very much. Wished we had booked and stayed on for new year eve. Would definitely recommend. Met some very friendly campers. It was 3rd time in caravan as new to touring and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Trev for all your help. X

No not the group! The weather but who's fault is that? Not the club or the site, who cares on this site,up to its usual good standard great xmas great wardens,close to shopping centres can't fault it.

Fantastic 2 night stay

We have just spent 2 nights at this site. We found the wardens to be very helpful and friendly. location wise we found the site useful due to its proximity to the park and ride and ease for getting into york for the Christmas market. Yes we did have to move the motorhome to the park and ride but this was not an issue for us. I guess we cold have walked if we really wanted but decided the route was not best for on foot. I found the toilet block to be clean and the facilities all worked well. The campsite was so quiet which was really pleasant.

York York its a wonderful site.

This ia our 2nd stay on this site in 12 months, we absolutley love it. The wardens are brilliant so friendly and helpfull and pleasant. The site is well maintained by the Wardens and the Club, it is well situated for getting to other lovely parts of North Yorkshire. The Christmas Fair was amazing and well worth a visit.York centre is about 10 mins in the car great parking the Piccadilly multi storey has free parking for blue badge holders, there is also a good bus service leavin from near the site. we will be back very soon.

Ok as far as Caravan Club sites go as always the site is great, The problem here is the location it is not motor home friendly. Yes there is a park and ride but it will take 45 mins, to walk to it most of which is a main road with no footpath, Yes there is parking for motor homes as well as cars but it finishes about 6pm. Weekends yippey 8pm bang goes your night out in York unless your teetotal

York was wet

Stayed at this site for last 3 years to see ice carvings in York, unfortunately it was so wet it was a great disappointment however as always staff on the site were amazing and made the visit worthwhile, fab they don't use motor vehicle to remove rubbish which sets the dogs off barking so it was 100% appreciated!! Merry Christmas wardens!!

Quiet and Peaceful

Greeted by the wardens in a warm and friendly manner. The site is rural and therefore quite peaceful. We used local transport although this required a twenty minute walk. The toilet block was warm and clean but perhaps more facilities are required on a site this size.

Well Run Site

We made a couple of extended stays throughout November and December 2015. The site is well maintained and the pitches and toilet block are of a standard that we come to expect as club members. There is a children's playground, football/playing field and an excellent dog walk field, although we only used the latter. Although the City is not directly accessible by public transport, there is an efficient Park and Ride service a 10 minutes drive from the site. The wardens Trevor and Patricia, and Andrew and Christine couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, during our stay.

Beechwood Grange Dec 2015

This was our second visit to Beechwood, We came in early Dec for the Christmas shopping in York. This site is very well run, with friendly staff that are there should you need them. Toilets and showers always clean and the water is hot and plentiful. Highly recommended site. Sharon & Stephen Harris.

Fantastic wardens

Stayed here for 3 nights to visit York X as markets. What a lovely site! The wardens are so helpfull and friendly. They made our stay very enjoyable. The site is well located for easy access from the ring road and easy distance to shops at monks ctiss, the park and ride and local restaurants.... We will definately be returning ??
