Family friendly

We have just had one night on this site. It was busy considering the time of year but we managed to find one last pitch that was hardstanding. There was alot more grass pitches than hardstanding  and the toilets were not centrally located but there was alot of showers and toilets which were all very clean.

A really lovely site

5 to 10 min leisurely stroll down through trees and sand dunes to the beach and what a lovely beach it is, miles of soft sand and rock pools . This was ideal for us as we are no longer fit and young so it made a nice change to be able to enjoy a beach that really was as close to the site as stated .. The wardens were helpful and friendly and the site peaceful and clean would defiantly go back to this site and thoroughly recommend it .

Quiet site

The site is quiet and well placed to visit many interesting places nearby as well being within easy reach of Edinburgh. The site is well maintained and the wardens are extremely pleasant, efficient and helpful. The only drawback is that there is a lot of rabbit droppings which can easily be brought into your caravan.

Fantastic Site

This is one of the best sites that we have been on.  The staff are absolutely brilliant, friendly and very helpful.  The shower block is extremely clean with hot water and no extra payment fee.  Great for dogs with the washing area and field for walking plus the beach is a minute away.  Will definitely come back to this site as was not able to spend enough time here on our first visit.

A peaceful site

This is the second time that we have visited this site. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dog walking especially on the local beaches was excellent and safe. With a choice of hard standing or grass pitches with enclosed areas there are different options to choose from for a peaceful stay. Downside is that you have to book early if you want your stay to include a weekend

Really short title

Enjoying a superb situation on a sandy coast near picturesque North Berwick, this is an ideal holiday spot. Walk the John Muir Way to the town in an hour, or promenade the plage in 80 minutes--tide out, or, if you fancy a triathlon, try it with the tide in! It is noted that reviewers write about ''week-end breaks'', and to some extent there is a problem in that tribesmen such as myself, coming for a week, are precluded from booking seven successive days.

Another great visit!

Stayed last weekend, having managed to secure a late booking due to someone else cancelling !   Could not believe our luck! Had another great stay, was made to feel most welcome by both the Wardens and Assistant Wardens again. Thanks for another great stay!

Late summer long weekend

Visited this site last weekend and enjoyed our stay very much, we are quite new to touring, although caravans have been a big part of our lives for many many years, and we are liking having as many long weekend trips as we can that are maybe within an hour or so from home so this was our first visit to Yellowcraig. The site is really doggie heaven it seemed that everybody had dogs -including us, dog walk was really great and with the lovely beach only a short walk away who could ask for more. Hopefully we will return next year.
