Stayed Fri-Sun for weekend visit. Easy access from A1. Site as described with several pitching areas nicely separated by hedges and shrubs which break area up. Close to spectacular beach and John Muir Way. Parked at rugby club on advice from warden as it was Saturday parking was busy but still found space. Further parking for motor homes at sports/leisure centre. Nice pub in village one mile away. We got last hard standing grass very hard though and even in rain shouldnt be a problem. Large toilet block easily copes with busy site. Good bus service from village. Footpath along John Muir way 3 miles to N berwick which has nice street with interesting shops.
Good clean site
As I am disabled I found the disable toilet very clean and has all your needs covered,
We will be coming back ,
The beach is not far and I was able to get to the sand it is nice soft sand ideal for families and dogs
They are play areas on site, also as the go through the wood there is a large play area for the older teenagers
The site is well set out in areas which are flat ,
As my wife and I had plenty of room for our Motorhome and tow car,
North berwick is a good place to visit

Great site, with something for everyone (almost!)
We visited this site for the first time this year, having usually stayed in Edinburgh on our annual trip north. The site is well laid out, with flat pitches. The facilities are what you would expect from the Caravan and Motorhome Club, clean and tidy and all of a very good standard.
The site is quiet and peaceful.
Yellowcraig beach is just a short walk away, with plenty of rock pools and such like to intrigue young children. The beach also provides a great place for dogs to run (although there is an excellent dog walk just adjacent to the site itself).
There is an abundance of wildlife in the local area, which also provides a great deal of interest, although as noted elsewhere, perhaps teenagers are less well catered for, phone signals and wifi are not perfect.
Would we visit again? Yes, very definitely
First Class site with excellent protocol for emergencies
I stayed with my daughter, who has a range of disabilities including epilepsy, during the Easter holidays. My daughter regularly requires an ambulance following a seizure due to breathing difficulties and I had explained this to the Warden, Maggie. We agreed a protocol should my daughter require an ambulance and although no ambulance was required I needed help, after usual hours, to get my daughter back to our caravan following a seizure. The protocol worked perfectly and I received help from the Warden on call from the shower block area back to the caravan whilst I carried my unconscious daughter.
I decided to curtail my trip this time, and I received help to remove and pack the awning, remove the water and to hitch up on our way home. This help was invaluable as I couldn't leave my daughter unattended due to her increasing seizure activity.
I cannot thank Maggie and her team at Yellowcraigs enough for all their help as it was invaluable. I will certainly be back although hopefully with my daughters seizures being under control with medication.
With regards to the site, it was, as usual spotlessly clean, very welcoming, has had a few painting jobs done since last summer and is kept in great shape. Well done on keeping the site in such great condition and continuing to update where necessary.
The toddler room we used was spotlessly clean and I was able to use the bench for my daughter following a seizure and not the floor. This was great as if we had used the disabled room there was not a bench, just a chair.
Thanks, from the bottom of my heart, for all your help and support as it is greatly appreciated.
My ideal site
We have just stayed at this site over Easter for what was our second visit.
The location is excellent and really could not be beaten if you have a family. A little play park on site and a more adventurous one right next to the beach.
The beach....................just stunning. Kite flying, dog walking, picnicking or just for a stroll, it really is sublime.
The site itself is well set out. Pitches are spacious and it is peaceful. The wardens there were very friendly and helpful and I witnessed them being so lovely to many of the children who were staying at the time.
The toilets, as always at club sites, were extremely clean and well maintained.
I've stayed here twice and would go back tomorrow if I could. Thank you for a lovely stay.

No internet, dated facilities and too many dogs!
TOO many dogs - one member had seven and others with 3 -5 why?
NO internet - long overdue
Toilet block beginning to show its age.
Come on Club - spend some of our money updating this site!
MY LOCAL SITE IS YELLOWCRAIG
My first outing this year was to Yellowcraig, only a half hour drive from my house. I had been working and van was just out of garage after repairs, so wasn't planning on going far for two nights. Been many a time, great site, you can leave your van and walk along the beach which is 5-10 walk from site. Walk along to North Berwick, walk to Archerfield or Direlton. Very busy site as it is very popular. Love the little nooks and crannies, the alcoves as I call them. Wish a couple of them were maybe adult only, but you cant have everything. Gets very busy with kids on their bikes and they charge about, so drivers be careful you may come upon them suddenly even though it is one way round the site. Looking forward to going back hopefully soon.
Easter week 2017
This is our fourth visit to Yellowcraigs over the last 2 years and we have always had a great holiday - chilled out and relaxed.
Beautiful beaches for walking dogs, one day I will pluck up the courage to swim out to Fidra Island!! :-)
North Berwick is great for supplies and recommend the the chippy and Bella Italia restaurant for a sit in or carry out.
Can't wait to get back down to Yellowcraigs again later this year!!

Outstanding!
This was our first stay at Yellowcraig and we were truly delighted. The site is in an idillic spot, perfect for watching the wildlife and yet only steps away from the beautiful beach. I liked the layout, with a large open area as well as little enclaves to suit everyone. We picked a quiet spot in one of these and it was superb. The wardens gave us a very warm welcome and couldn't be more friendly and helpful and the site and facilities were spotless.
There is a 3 mile track (John Muir Way) in to North Berwick which you can walk or cycle and the town is well worth a visit. Nice shops, the Seabird centre and excellent lobster at the Rocketeer restaurant on the seafront. Alternatively you can spend a lovely day in the sand dunes on the beach right next to the site.
I can honestly say this is now one of my favourite club sites and we will definitely be back next year.
A perfect week by the seaside
This was our first, but will not be our last, trip to this part of Scotland.
Helped by a week of excellent weather the sites position so close to the beech was excellent, perfect for early morning dog walks.
The site is very clean and well maintained and supported by a friendly group of wardens.
Just wish it was closer to home.
Peace and quite only interrupted by tractors in adjacent fields but something quite cathartic about that.
