We always come to the Wirral for our first trip of the season as it's only an hour away from home. The site is always clean, the wardens always helpful and very importantly we are always able to find a quiet pitch away from the childrens play area.

Just a very pleasant site wirth very nice views from a few pitches.
Cycle path very good.
Pick up cycle and walking leaflets at the Wirall Country Park information office.
Don't be put off there is no Caravan Club sign at the end of the road you can only turn right and then leave the static homes on your left until you reach the entrance to the club site.
As usual we noticed people arriving well before the official check in time of 12 noon. This should be stopped its not fair on those who abide by the rules and not fair on those wanting to leave as near 12 as possible who meet the early arrivers on the access roads.
Wardens very nice.
We enjoyed a peaceful stay. The facilities were good the toilet block was clean. It is a good base for walking and cycling and has public transport from West Kirby into Liverpool. The Wirral Way is just a few steps away from the site entrance. We will be visiting this site again in the near future.
Hi we stayed for 6 Days and what a delight.
Great location and so good for dogs with the park, beach and fantastic pathways.
Having GJ down the road was also enjoyable. Best location I have found with the CM sites.
We have already booked again!! Bike hire or even car hire from the site wud be brill.
Booked this site for our first mini break of 2017. Really handy for visiting Cheshire Oaks for shopping and some lovely flat coastal walks at Hoylake, West Kirby and New Brighton. Several of the pitches have some fabulous views across the River Dee to North Wales but you have to be quick as these seem to go first. Wardens really friendly and helpful. Toilet and shower block kept warm and clean, although as mentioned by a fellow camper, some men ... and women left toilets in a disgusting state and I too felt very sorry for the person who had to clean them. Shame on you campers, would you leave them in that state at home? Overall a great little site and well worth a visit.
We've tried to get on here for a couple of years but never got dates we wanted.
Finally we got 6 days.
Easy to get to and simple access.
Assistant wardens were fantastic, really friendly welcome.
Pitch was level and the shower/toilet block was clean and warm.
The walks and cycle paths right next to the site are brilliant, we really saw a lot of the beauty of the Wirral. The Cottage Loaf pub just off the main round about en route to the site is great for a good pint and food.
The only criticism I could offer is that the the woodland and some of the grass areas are lacking some tlc, not as high standard as I've seen on other CC sites.
Pitch 51 has a unofficial path behind it that everyone uses to cut through to the shower block, threw and around your pitch, we know as we where on it.
The road that passes the border of the site leading down to the beach car park is a regular route for the local boy racers to meet, so be perpared for a little noise, not much CC can do about that one.
