A hidden gem

A little local gem. We used this site to try out a new caravan for two nights. The atmosphere on site is as if you are on a rural site. The fact is there is so many places to visit within walking or cycling distance, and handy for lots of attractions a short car journey away. The facilities are clean and modern and the site very well kept. Two small notes, the wifi did drop off sporadically and the childrens play area although well kept could have had more activities.

My favourite site!

Love this site, I am a regular visitor, staff are friendly and the site is lovely and clean. There are plenty of walks, shopping park nearby for if you need anything. I had a couple of issues this weekend with my van and staff were fabulous help. Thank you x

Oasis close to home

The site is a lovely place to stay and so close to home. You could honestly be anywhere in the country with the lovely surroundings. There are many walks you can go on or cycle as well. The Seaside and indeed Whitby and Heartbeat Country are are pretty close by car so a White Water makes a good base for this. The site is immaculate and faculties are superb. I will definitely keep visiting this site, especially during the winter. It is a Home from Home.

Fantastic Site

This is our 3rd visit and won't be our last. The site is is nice and tranquil with excellent facilities including exceptional recycling & waste disposal. The added touches of the fairy lights around the tress really adds to the lovely ambience of the site. There is plenty to do on site including a great games room and play park which is good for small and big people alike. The site is very Covid safe. The surrounding Tees Barrage is a beautiful area with lots of lovely walks and cycle paths. There is a Beefeater just next to the site which is dog friendly for small friendly dogs. The site is well located with Asda just 5 minutes walk away and a 15 min walk into the town centre.

Definitely worth more than one visit

This is such a pretty site. There is a Beefeater restaurant really close by, shops a short walk away and plenty of walks along the river, we even watched the kayaking on the Tees barrage.

Overnight stay

Another great stay..we chose to stay here for a night before heading to Poolsbrook for a week. White Water is just a mile from our storage so quite often spend a night here getting caravan packed up and ready for a trip further away. Great site, very well maintained and Anora and Den had done an amazing job for Halloween….decorating not just the office but themselves too 🎃. Beefeater next door was a must…..amazing steaks. Love the privacy of the service pitches…love it so much we are back for a long weekend at the end of the month and also for New Year 👍😃….Helen and Mark xx

Fantastic location

I have just spent 5 nights here on my own with my 3 dogs and would definitely go again. It is right on the River Tees and you can walk for miles either way. The site is kept immaculate with some lovely touches that includes a fairy garden. They also have a games room with a pool table. Tees Barrage has a couple of seals apparently if you are lucky enough to see them. Asda is just around the corner but it's quicker to walk than drive all the way round. A couple of retail parks close by with morrisons and places to eat eg tgi's, 5 guys, pizza express.

Big Al

Best site we have visited this year. Spotless, friendly staff, perfect for dog walking & a nice Beefeater restaurant right on the doorstep. Will definitely visit again.

Perfect for us

We were visiting the Tees area for a specific reason, and this was the perfect site for us. A very warm welcome greeted us, the pitch was a generous size and quite level, the facilities were abundant and spotlessly clean, pub/eatery a few minutes walk away. The immediate area (Tees Barrage) looks a fascinating place to discover, there are walks/cycle routes in both directions into Stockton on Tees and Middlesbrough, and our bus stop was a 5 minute walk across the 'green bridge'. We both agreed we would return and spend more time here.
