Excellent all round site

We frequently use Whitewater as our grandchildren live very near. Superbly kept site with friendly, hard working and helpful wardens. But why oh why do so many (male) visitors not know how or when to make use of the toilet brushes provided?

White water surprise

Our first visit coincided with a visit of the Beast from the East 2 with snow and bitter east winds. That didn't take anything away from the site. It is in an easy to access location with major roads on the doorstep. It is adjacent to the White Water canoeing rapids which in itself is a fascinating venue. Despite the site being close to a number of fast arterial roads and heavy industry it is surprisingly quiet. The site is immaculately maintained with a games room and plenty of walks from the site. The wardens are excellent and one still had his shorts on despite -8C windchill! We will be back for another visit.

Fantastic site

I store my caravan at White Water Park and have used the site on many occasions in the past. However our recent stay was the first since the site has been refurbished. The renovations have made such a difference with superb toilets & showers and excellent pitches. This is really a site that we, as members, can be proud of. I must also mention the excellent wardens who are not only very friendly & approachable but are also very professional and knowledgeable. They keep the site in superb condition and the little touches are examples of their caring attitude towards visitors. This is a real jewel in the club's network. Peter & Linda Shields

Weekend stay

Brilliant. Arrived on Friday as a first timer. was totally new to all things caravans and touring so was uneasy on arrival. as soon as we had booked in there was help available and the staff and other caravans' were more than happy to help and advise. this made our first family holiday what it was and has kept us up beat about going again. the showers and toilets were clean the site was cleaned and there is a lovely little park in the site which my children enjoyed. it is a nice quiet area. there is also a games room for if the weather isn't great I have already booked my next trip up here and will be going regular.

First outing!

We very much enjoyed our stay at White Water Caravan Park and would definitely return. Very friendly and helpful staff and as total 'newbies' to caravanning (we had just collected our first caravan from Teeside caravans), being given extra time to pack up and check everything was ok, was much appreciated. Absolutely spotless toilets and showers, which were lovely and warm too! Enjoyable walks along the river and a super meal in Yarm one night, which was only about 15 minutes away. Very happy with everything!

Great location

We were booked in for Friday and Saturday but on arrival and the cleanliness and helpfulness of staff decided to stay for extra night, site was great location, toilet block was warm clean and tidy, site was well. Maintained, the only down side was there was car parking in front of site for the white water centre and nature reserve to use but on Saturday night the local boy racers decided to use it to meet up blast music, Rev there engines, and use it as a bit of a race track, this went on for a good 2 hours, we could hear the noise in motorhome, was out walking dog and phoned police to complain, this doesn’t do local business any good, it did not put us off but would check before booking for weekend if any problem with boy racers. On check out staff were busy or would have brought this problem to there attention.

always a pleasure

had another visit to this lovely site last weekend, as always, pleasure to visit, everyone and everything top marks. The beauty with this site is you always get what you expect and more, certainly not our first visit, but certainly not our last with everything on your doorstep

Anniversary Site for us!

We‘ve been going to this site for 12 years on a regular basis. We know it as our ‘Anniversary site' as we celebrate our wedding anniversary here ever year. There is usually things happening at the White Water Park, canoeists, kayakers etc. are training or competing. The facilities are good, being updated recently. Prices at this site are reasonable. There is a fish & chip van visiting on a Friday. The dogs have to be walked just outside the site. There is great cycling routes and walking routes just outside the park. There is a large retail park 5 minutes away in the car. You can walk to Asda in approx 15 mins. So good location all round for us. We regularly go to the beach at Redcar during our stay at White Water as it has a fabulously long sandy beach (great for the dogs). So if you‘be not visited before, make a booking soon as it is getting busier every time we go & was fully booked last Saturday (a random November weekend).
