Surprising Site

We recently made our first ever visit to White Water Park, what a brilliant site. It's one of the best designed Club sites I have come across. We had a service pitch which was both large and private as it had hedged pitches. Good to see a proper open grill motorhome waste point. Congratulations to the wardens for their efforts at the entrance with their floral displays, excellent. It is a surprisingly peaceful site being away from main roads. Being fairly high up you can see far and wide, at least as far as the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough! Handy restaurant next to the site. Lots of paths and cycleways direct from the site. ASDA supermarket a short walk away and buses to Stockton and Middlesbrough just beyond the ASDA car park. This could have been a good base for a longer stay than our four days. Good for members who want to leave their cars and motorhomes on site and explore by other means.

Another great time.

We have been here several times previously and love it but this time we thought we’d try a longer stay. We are quite new to motorhoming and this was to be our longest stay. I am lucky enough to get the six weeks summer holidays off so thought we would spend a week here on the way back from Scarborough! My husband isn’t so lucky so had to travel to work every day. After the first week we both thought we’d stay another week. During that time we had several different members of our family and friends visiting or paying to stay for one or two nights. We all had an excellent time including the kids and the dog. There is so much to do within the local area and lots of places to visit further afield. I would highly recommend this sight. It is run with military precision but that’s why it is such a pleasure to spend so much time here. Yes it is very popular with families- it is the summer holidays so there are a lot of children on site. All having fun. Book it it’s great- until the next time!

Excellent

What a surprise! First time here and will return, the site is immaculate with flower displays everywhere... someone has very green fingers. Considering it’s in quite an industrialised and built up area, it’s so peaceful with lots of walking to be found. The walks along either side of the Tees are brilliant and there’s so much to see, especially the white water rapids themselves ... well worth a visit.

Hidden Gem

Easy access from both A19 or A1 this lovely site has everything you need on your caravan step, Retail therapy, East coast or North Yorkshire moors. Absolutely immaculate site that's a joy to visit with very accommodating and professional wardens. We use the site to visit family and friends and also visiting childhood memories. We thoroughly enjoy every stay and will continue to do so, 5 stars from us.

White Water Park

Superb site in every respect, pub for meals and a Premier Inn next door, really handy if you don't want to cook or friends want to stay with you. The site exceeds the usual high standards of the club, the wardens work seemingly every hour of the day tending the flowers etc. Lots of little touches dotted around the site show the wardens take real pride in the site. Had one of the friendliest check in experiences checking in, with offers of help with directions, or anything else we wanted. The Tees Barrage is also next door to the site, 2 min walk and we were reading the history of the Tees Barrage and watching seals in the river. We had a fantastic couple of days here, our only regret is it was not longer as the wider area has loads to offer including Whitby, Durham, Beamish Museum all easily done from the site. Preston Park Museum is also really close and is a good place to go if you have kids.

Another good visit

We use this site regularly to visit family so know it well. The site is flat, easy to find with good access and all the usual facilities. It is well kept and has a good variety of pitches, well spaced and with plenty of grass. There is a little road noise but not enough to worry us.There are two supermarkets and cheap fuel on hand and the area has plenty for adults and children. For those put off by the industrial reputation of the area do not worry it is not a problem, those who come will be pleased with their choice..

Fantastic

What a Lovely site the warden's and volunteers do a fabulous job, The flower display is out of this world they have worked so hard,Every corner you turn there's something else to catch your eye. All the pitches are regularly weeded and that makes such a difference. Toilets immaculate. Well done to everyone.,

Excellent location

Beautifully kept site. Lovely flower displays. Excellent facilities including caravan washing area and bike lockers (although they were too small for my husband's bike!) Location near the Tees barrage and river is lovely for walking and cycling. Easy access to main roads for going further afield. Only gripes are clinical feel of the site (but I find most of the CC sites are like this) and the pricing policy - I do not agree in charging more for school holidays! That aside it is a lovely site.

An Unexpected Gem

We chose this site with no expectations and found it an oasis of peace in an industrial area. The schools were in so it could be different in the holidays. The wardens work very hard at keeping it and have some very interesting floral displays. Asda is just a very pleasant walk away.
