I have not visited this site for a number of years, but on returning last weekend, I was pleasantly surprised by the update, what a lovely well laid out site, a very friendly welcome from the wardens, and the facilities are immaculate, close to shops, bars, and numerous other nearby attractions, I will certainly be visiting more often .
good location
Enjoyed a long weekend recently. The park is next to the tees barrage white water park.
The park is very well looked after with the shower/toilet block spotless.
The location is very good, close to shops, good walks also not far to Whitby if you fancy a short drive for a day out.
My only negative and advice I would give is, don't waste your money paying for the site internet,
its woeful and a complete waste of money. But apart from that i would highly recommend this site
and we will certainly be returning.
Lovely Park
We have been regulars to this site since it opened. We love coming here, it's convenient for us as we have family in the area. It is always spotlessly clean, well maintained and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
If you are unfamiliar with the Area - come and give it a try, there are some beautiful walks close by, fantastic wildlife to be seen [the Seals at the Barrage are a must] good shopping within walking distance and a relaxing time to be had.

Another great location
Another brilliant site in a great location. We weren’t blessed with great weather but we were impressed with the location right beside the white water park. Site was well maintained and there is a lot to see in the area. Only one downside for me and that’s the drone of the traffic, but given it’s locaction this is only to be expected.

Short stop - September 2018
What a lovely site this is. Beautifully kept and lovely helpful wardens. The pitches were spacious, we chose based on the fact that Hurricane Helene was due the same night and the next day, and we survived! The facilities were very nice and clean.
It's very well positioned to see the local area. We popped over to Darlington to the Railway Museum, well worth a visit, and would have done more but the Hurricane curtailed us a bit.
We were using the site as a stopover on our way to Lindisfarne but wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Local hero
We are regulars here as it’s close to home. Always find something new to do and new places to go to. This time we were lucky enough to watch the white Water canoeing competition at the tees barrage. Can’t wait to return. Our dog loves it as much as we do. Try it it’s great.
great time as always
this is 3rd visit since April ad our 7tfh in last 18 months and as always can`t fault the site and will be returning
Surprising Site
We recently made our first ever visit to White Water Park, what a brilliant site. It's one of the best designed Club sites I have come across. We had a service pitch which was both large and private as it had hedged pitches. Good to see a proper open grill motorhome waste point. Congratulations to the wardens for their efforts at the entrance with their floral displays, excellent. It is a surprisingly peaceful site being away from main roads. Being fairly high up you can see far and wide, at least as far as the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough! Handy restaurant next to the site. Lots of paths and cycleways direct from the site. ASDA supermarket a short walk away and buses to Stockton and Middlesbrough just beyond the ASDA car park. This could have been a good base for a longer stay than our four days. Good for members who want to leave their cars and motorhomes on site and explore by other means.
Another great time.
We have been here several times previously and love it but this time we thought we’d try a longer stay. We are quite new to motorhoming and this was to be our longest stay. I am lucky enough to get the six weeks summer holidays off so thought we would spend a week here on the way back from Scarborough! My husband isn’t so lucky so had to travel to work every day. After the first week we both thought we’d stay another week. During that time we had several different members of our family and friends visiting or paying to stay for one or two nights. We all had an excellent time including the kids and the dog. There is so much to do within the local area and lots of places to visit further afield. I would highly recommend this sight. It is run with military precision but that’s why it is such a pleasure to spend so much time here. Yes it is very popular with families- it is the summer holidays so there are a lot of children on site. All having fun. Book it it’s great- until the next time!
Excellent
What a surprise!
First time here and will return, the site is immaculate with flower displays everywhere... someone has very green fingers.
Considering it’s in quite an industrialised and built up area, it’s so peaceful with lots of walking to be found. The walks along either side of the Tees are brilliant and there’s so much to see, especially the white water rapids themselves ... well worth a visit.
