Another very nice stay

We use this site a lot during winter great for hard standing, shower block very clean. We don’t use the car much nice walks along the river Tees & you can walk to the local Asda for shopping. We will be there again in a month.

Excellent site

We have used this site many times mainly in winter because of the hard standing pitches but normally only for weekends, but this time we arrived on 14th December & stayed for 23 nights having extended our stay by 4 nights. The site is very well run & maintentained, the wardens are very helpful & friendly nothing is too much trouble, we were hand delivered a Christmas card my sister had posted to the site & arrived back one day to find post on our caravan step in the awning this was a birthday card his brother had sent to the site, this is going beyond the duty of the wardens but a very touch. The Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve parties were brilliant thanks again to hard working wardens. We will be returning to the site again in a few weeks time looking forward to it already.

Ideal site

This site is a matter of 30 minutes away from our home. It is ideal for our short weekend breaks away from the hum drum. We found the Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Facilities were very clean and the site is a credit to both the Staff and to the Club. Well positioned with easy access to both Stockton and \Middlesbrough. We use it at every weekend opportunity. Great place.

great site

this has to be one of the best run sites within the club...the facilities are spotless and the whole site has so many plants and shrubs it is a pleasure to spend time there. the wardens work so hard to maintain and make sure everything is first class. there is a bar/restaurant just outside the main entrance...unfortunately no dogs allowed inside but you can sit and have a meal outside if you want to.the tees barrage is within 5 minutes walk away with a riverside walk into stockton,as is a 24 hour ASDA...not seen from the site 5 minutes walk away and same distance for buses to stockton or middlesbrough...from where you can go to several places further afield.we will certainly return !

Lovely site, excellent facilities

I have not visited this site for a number of years, but on returning last weekend, I was pleasantly surprised by the update, what a lovely well laid out site, a very friendly welcome from the wardens, and the facilities are immaculate, close to shops, bars, and numerous other nearby attractions, I will certainly be visiting more often .

good location

Enjoyed a long weekend recently. The park is next to the tees barrage white water park. The park is very well looked after with the shower/toilet block spotless. The location is very good, close to shops, good walks also not far to Whitby if you fancy a short drive for a day out. My only negative and advice I would give is, don't waste your money paying for the site internet, its woeful and a complete waste of money. But apart from that i would highly recommend this site and we will certainly be returning.

Lovely Park

We have been regulars to this site since it opened. We love coming here, it's convenient for us as we have family in the area. It is always spotlessly clean, well maintained and the staff are always friendly and helpful. If you are unfamiliar with the Area - come and give it a try, there are some beautiful walks close by, fantastic wildlife to be seen [the Seals at the Barrage are a must] good shopping within walking distance and a relaxing time to be had.

Another great location

Another brilliant site in a great location. We weren’t blessed with great weather but we were impressed with the location right beside the white water park. Site was well maintained and there is a lot to see in the area. Only one downside for me and that’s the drone of the traffic, but given it’s locaction this is only to be expected.

Short stop - September 2018

What a lovely site this is. Beautifully kept and lovely helpful wardens. The pitches were spacious, we chose based on the fact that Hurricane Helene was due the same night and the next day, and we survived! The facilities were very nice and clean. It's very well positioned to see the local area. We popped over to Darlington to the Railway Museum, well worth a visit, and would have done more but the Hurricane curtailed us a bit. We were using the site as a stopover on our way to Lindisfarne but wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Local hero

We are regulars here as it’s close to home. Always find something new to do and new places to go to. This time we were lucky enough to watch the white Water canoeing competition at the tees barrage. Can’t wait to return. Our dog loves it as much as we do. Try it it’s great.
