Enjoyed a lovely week recently at this site , wardens very warm and welcoming and offered good advice with regards to our 3 bouncy boxers , who loved the wardens too ! Open sunny site, spotless facilities , good access to nearby tourist spots , miles of beach to walk along and best ever fish and chips from chip shop/restaurant along the road in the village .
Many thanks again to the helpful wardens , we would look forward to visiting this site again .
Lovely location :)
The facilities on this site are very clean, grounds are very well kept and the staff are friendly. The play park for children needs a little improving as its very small. Great location for the beach and only a short drive to Great Yarmouth.

Great location
We have a motorhome and dogs, the location of this site RIGHT on the coast is a joy. Waking up to views of the sea makes you feel so relaxed, just what the doctor ordered. The beach and pub are dog friendly, if you walk right out of the gate it is only a short walk to a river and a salt water lagoon, worth a walk. We got lost trying to get to the site as the Kessingland By-pass isn't called as such and so if you don't find this like us just persevere on your way to Ipswich on the A12 and you will find it. On the bigger part of the site it is a bit greener but the toilet block is right at the back and so it could be a long walk.
Hesters first visit
our first visit to a very pleasant clean and well cared for site. we had well earned rest. Staff were very helpful. Toilet shower block very clean, possibly due to short closure period allowing staff complete access to carry out the cleaning. Close to good food eating places. We look forward to coming again.

Shame about the Noise
Great location right next to the beech but for that luxury you have to tolerate the yapping dogs, noisy campers that sit late outside their vans talking absolute rubbish and the miserable wardens that throw you out the toilet blocks abruptly because they need to clean them at exactly the closing time to the detriment of public hygiene where you must not wash your hands because the cleaning garstapo have arrived.
Our tenth visit
We have enjoyed this site for ten years. It's accessible to many places in beautiful Suffolk . Bus services are near and regular if you want to leave your car behind.
The closure of the small toilet block was a not a good idea as it meant
a long trek especially when the main block was closed for cleaning, and for those members on the top grass pitches.
Apart from this everything was fine.

Good site
We stay here for 6 nights and having read the review regarding the facilities we were surprised. We were on the beach site and facilities were fine. Clean and and plenty of hot water. I appreciate the club are updating facilities but they were perfectly adequate .... A perfect location next to the beach ideal of dogs... A plus having a dog shower which was perfect. Would go back again

A pleasant surprise
We had a a very pleasant two night stay, our plan was to chill out relax and do little over the weekend and this site allowed us to do just that.. the beach nice and near for my canoeing and evening walks which ended up in the local pub that had some lovely real ale and live music in their car park.. pleased with our choice of pitch as we had empty pitches around us.. the fish chip van done great food also the shop on site had ice creams.. we will be staying again..
Great beachside location
Enjoyed our time here and particularly liked Southwold and Aldeburgh.
Toilet block was a bit of a trek from where we were pitched, but was a nice spacious site.
excellent assistance:
I would like to record our thanks for the excellent assistance we received from Gary (warden) in helping us find an appropriate site for our 4.75m. wide awning. His help was professional, expert and delivered in a friendly manner suggesting he really felt this to be part of his role.
The site was ,as usual, in very good shape and the other members of the staff friendly and welcoming despite the site being 98% full.
Thank you for a relaxing break.
