lovely site

this was our second visit and managed to get on the sea front. Such a short walk to the beach and local shops. The sailors rest did nice food but you do have to book a table. The site is so clean and the wardens really helpful. We shall be back again soon.

White House beach caravan site

Our first visit and certainly will not be our last. The site is clean and well maintained perfect for families. Our pitch was right on the seafront which meant we woke to beautiful sea views. It is perfect for children and dogs with such easy access to the beach.

Second visit to Whitehouse Beach

Just home from our second visit to this site in the last couple of months.  We must love it as its a 9 hour drive door to door.  We cannot comment on back campsite area as we have chosen beach side for the views.  This is a very well run site and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.  Will be back soon.

Beach happy

This site is well located for walking to Lowestoft or Southwold. The latter is a lovely old fashioned resort, long promenade and lots to do, nice tea rooms, places to sit and watch the sea.  We did catch a bus back from Southwold to the site, they run every hour, quite convenient, but this main bus stop is a short walk away.  We walked to Southwold along the beach, which was great for the dog.  Huge beach, lagoons.  We managed to get a grass pitch which is ideal with a dog, the hard standing pitches seemed a bit smaller.  Overall site is very good, although I thought it unusual that the whole toilet block, including the dishwashing area, is closed from 9.45 until 11.  There was a steady stream of people with buckets and bowls and dishes, only to return slightly frustrated.  I couldn't see the point of closing the dishwashing area for such a long period.  However, it didn't spoil a lovely site.  The pub nearby was very friendly and allowed dogs in.

SHAME ON YOU CARAVAN CLUB

As a motorhomer i always look in the book for sites that have a bus stop close by, i would expect to be told the truth, the club book states within 100 mts,,shame on you for that, yes there is a bus stop -within 100 mts, its one bus a day mon to fri and school days only to take kids to school, the main bus stop is over 600 mts away , not a problem so why supply faulse info. the site is well kept and clean but you are plagued by dogs barking near on all day from the houses either side of the site. i have marked it down for familes as yes its on a beach but its stones which i consider not good for kids. i did read one prev comment about the lack of showers, this is not true on the main site so they must of been complained about the 2 extra rows on the beach front part they do only have 2 showers but it only has about 16 plots i thought the grass plots to be one of the best visited and were a very good size, would i go back,,yes, just tell the truth CC

Wonderful Place

Lovely warm welcome, we were lucky enough to get a pitch over looking the sea. Such a nice tranquil place to be. Good for coastal walks and visiting the lovely Southwold. Looking forward to returning.

First Time: Impressed !

We pitched up at White House today and I have to say that we are delighted. A very warm welcome. We have pitched in the wooded area slightly back from the beach. The grounds are well kept. Toilets & showers are absolutely spotless and our pitch is perfect. I called at the site shop to pick up a couple of bits and was told if I need anything else after closing just ring the bell and we will open up for you. Amazing.  I would really recommend this club site and it's really handy for all local attractions of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth to the North or Southwold to the South and about 30 to 40 minutes from Norwich. We'll be back.

First visit

Just came back from a fantastic week at Kessingland with my husband and 3 children.  Upon arriving I was asked if I wanted a key for the baby & toddler room for my 2yr old - this is the first time I have ever been asked and was so pleased as it came in so handy. The wardens seemed friendly and kept the site very clean and tidy. The position of the site couldn't be better and it is so peaceful.  Everyone seemed very friendly and there was plenty to do round about including Africa alive and sonerleyton gardens.  The beach is shingle but 4 miles away at Lowestoft there is a lovely sandy beach. The only 2 negatives ( which wouldn't stop me going back) is the play area is not exactly a play area. It is a bit of wood with 2 tyres on - def doesn't keep the children entertained. Then the 2nd being the smell of poo especially on a hot day.  We pitched up at 89 and we could smell it so much we moved before getting set up properly.  We thought it was coming from the septic tank in the trees but it could have been the sewerage works, which are close by.  Overall it didn't spoil our holiday and we enjoyed holidaying here.

First Visit to Whie House Beach

Just retuned from our first visit to CC site at White House Beach Kessingland, Suffolk. Everything about this site is first class ie. the site, the location and not least the Staff. Had a thoroughly enjoyable week - we will definitely return!
