It's brilliant

This is a brilliant site, especially the beach side, so hay caravan club, how about a new toilet block as this would make this site one of the best in the country, we really enjoyed our stay.  One moan, members don't go out on the fore shore scrub land and not pick up your dogs poo, let us set an example to the locals. Well done wardens.

location just perfect

We love the Suffolk coast line and this park has some pitches that are situated overlooking the sea. The walks along the beach are magical. Kessingland is a quiet and quirky seaside village which has two lovely pubs and a small tea room named the Sweat retreat which serves the most delicious cakes ( we can particularly recommend the Victoria sponge)! Africa live, pleasure wood hills, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are all nearby so plenty to do. We just enjoyed the great walks and overlooking the sea which is a wonderful view to wake up to. The site is very well maintained with very friendly staff. Thank you we will defiantly return

T.V. reception

we stayed on this site from the 4th October until 9th. our motor home is fitted with a factory fitted television which has no way of fitting a booster t.v. cable to it, which although sold on site, it was no use to the likes of us and would appreciate,if in future you could include this information in the site book, so that other members in the same situation could then decide what to do. We did explain this to the wardens, but quite frankly they were not the least bit interested.

Peaceful

Stayed at White House Beach for a weekend with the children. Visited Pleasurewood Hills which is a short drive away. Site was spotless and very peaceful in the evening. We were lucky catching the good weather in September which was an added bonus. Being able to walk over the road onto the beach was a real treat for us all.  Had to buy a TV cable as the site has poor reception due to a wind turbine nearby which according to the wardens has cut the signal. There is a wonderful fish and chip shop a short walk away and a pub, albeit we never visited the pub. We will definitely will be returning in 2017 as there is loads to do in the local area.  Highly recommended.

LEAST FAVOURITE SITE

Recently spent 9 nights at this site. I don't know if it was end of season lack of interest but it was one of our least favourite sites. On arrival there was an awful smell coming from either the disposal area or somewhere else. The disposal area was checked very promptly and assurances made that it was not the cause. The reception was closed for three mornings per week and we felt that the toilets were cleaned at an odd time i.e. 9.45am - 11.00am. A fellow camper did say that they felt the same. You either had to get up early, have your breakfast and maybe a cup of tea to catch the early morning rush or wait until 11.00am until the toilets were cleaned. The other toilet block had been decommissioned by the caravan club so we were told. We just felt that as it was close to the end of holiday season that there was a lack of enthusiasm. On the plus side we found a wonderful fish and chip takeaway/restaurant nearby that we all felt served the best fish and chips we had ever tasted. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. I don't think we will return to this site.

Superb

I loved this site. We were lucky enough to get a pitch on the sea front field which has direct access to the beach, and mainly because of this along with perfect sunny weather I would rate this as the best site I have stayed on so far in 4 years of touring the UK. I will definitely return and stay for longer next time.It was perfect having the large beach to exercise the dog, and with bus stop 10 minutes walk away to Lowestoft or southwold both which are lovely, and a pub, and tea room within a couple of minutes, what more could you want. Superb.

Friendly stay

The Wardens were friendly and helpful and looked after the site well. We recently spent 6 nights at this site. We were lucky to get beach side, great pitch and friendly neighbours. We were on the back row so had a bit of traffic noise but nothing to bother about. Our Scottish neighbours were a joy and we had many chats, altogether a great atmosphere. This site is within easy reach of Lowestoft, Yarmouth etc one way and Southwold the other, all of which we visited. Will certainly be back in 2017.

Enjoyable trip.

We stayed here for six nights and we were lucky to have had a beach side pitch especially as the weather was perfect.we were welcomed on arrival and were lucky to be able to extend our stay thanks to the warden for that .some lovely beach walks to either south wold or Lowestoft. There aren't many restaurants or pubs to choose from locally so really need transport.unfortuneatly for us we found seasonal pitch people on the beach side very cliquey but it didn't spoil our stay .
