Easter Break
White House Beach Site
Spent 5 nights over Easter at this lovely site. We were greeted by very friendly and amenable staff nothing was a problem for them. The toilet facilities were spotless. The grass areas were manicured to a high standard. We choose to stay on a grass pitch of our choice which was very generous in size. The beach was just outside the site gate where we enjoyed long walks every day. We visited the Broads and hired a boat for the day which were excellent fun. We will decently be back.

Beach Side Haven
We have just returned from a week at this lovely site. The Wardens gave us a lovely warm welcome on arrival and were very helpful when giving advice on which pitches we may prefer. We chose not to have a pitch on the beach-side part of the site as the road which runs behind it seemed quite busy. We chose a lovely pitch on the main site and were sooo pleased we did! We had the sun on our pitch all day and absolute peace and quiet all night (with the exception of an owl hooting!). The dog-friendly beach was 2 minutes walk away and an absolute joy for the early morning dog walk with views of spectacular sunrises. We used the local pub, The Sailors Home, for a drink in the sun and had a delightful lunch at The Waterfront Restaurant. The facilities were spotless and the whole site was immaculately kept. The village of Kessingland is a short walk away and has a few shops for your basic needs. There is a large Morrisons within 10 mins drive for a bigger shop. It is a short drive into Lowestoft or Oulton Broads, both of which are lovely for a day out. We will definitely add this to our list of sites to visit again!
Our Third stay at this site
This is a lovely location. On our third trip to this site since 2015 we managed to locate a free pitch on the sea front park.
Views are wonderful.
The toilet block is showing signs of wear and should be refurbished.
The waste bins had no signage so, having seperated cardboard, glass, tin cans from general refuse, I had no option but to dump all waste in the general rubbish bins.
Large skip and or refuse trucks frequently use the lane that provides access to the sea front field and the noise was noticable at times as either speed humps or pot holes cause the trucks to clatter.
Staff, as normal, were welcoming and helpful.
The " minor" observations above in no way detract from the pleasure derived from returning to White House Beach.

Great getaway
A great site split in two. Main site and across the road, beach site. Need to be lucky to get beach view which we were. Wardens friendly and helpful. Up to usual clean and tidy standard. On beach side there was the addition of a dog wash. Brilliant - all sites should have one. Thanks for a great mid-week getaway. Will return as only a couple of hours from home.

We spent a week here in early November, the good weather was an additional bonus especially when located on the front row overlooking the sea, there was always something going on. A bit of a walkers paradise supported by a good bus service that interconnects well, so getting around by local transport is very good. The facilities are kept to a high standard and you are made very welcome by all the wardens who really cannot do enough for you and are always available whenever you need them. Eating out is also very good as there are places quite local to the site.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay
We arrived here at lunchtime on Tuesday of kids half term & were lucky enough to get a beach side pitch. There is room for 24 motorhomes/caravans, so it's own little community. Very peaceful, great outlooks to the beach & perfect for walks along the beach to Lowestoft (4 miles) or Southwold (8 miles) the other way. There is a cafe/restaurant & a pub 100 metres away & a chip shop just a bit further on. The local Co-op supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Buses pick up/drop off near to the site, though when we were there the road was closed near the site so had to get off the stop before, which was about 10 minutes away. Very handy for Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft & Southwold & also Norwich is only half hour drive away. This looks to be a great city to visit. I can't comment on the rest of the site across the road as we didn't need to go there but a fantastic site which is definitely recommended. The beautiful weather was of course an added bonus.
You may be lucky, but if not don't worry!
We, along with many I would guess, hoped to get a pitch along the front of the site overlooking the foreshore and out to sea. Sadly this was not possible as that area naturally books out early, I would guess unless you can "move in" mid week, forget it. So it was into the main site we went. All pitches seem to be to the usual CC high standard, and TV was available on the EHU post (good because my aerial, which is normally good, struggled a bit). We struggled with the club wifi, the paying process locked up and we found we had paid but could not log in (as we were already logged in....except we weren't) so will follow this up. Mobile phone signal on O2 was ok for talking but no data.
We walked onto beach and actually the seafront pitches are a good 240 -250 metres away from the sea over a pebble and scrub foreshore so the seafront pitches while nice to get are not the be all and end all.
Enjoyed a walk into Lowestoft and back and found the whole place nicely relaxing though there were few children when we went as half term had just ended.
Great seaside family site
Visited this lovely site 4 times now and still lots to keep the children happy, easy to reach the pebbled beach across a small road (watch the younger members!) Clean toilet blocks and all hardstanding, we will be back.
First trip to Suffolk
This was my first visit to the Suffolk coast and the caravan club site at Kessingland was an excellent base for a few days. The wardens were very friendly and I was lucky to get a pitch on the beach side with a sea view. The facilities were more than adequate and if I'm ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to use this site.
