Great two week stay

Just returned earlier this week from a two week stay at this lovely site. The site itself was sheltered with lots of various plots to suit all. The site was clean and well kept. The wardens were both friendly and helpful, a big thank you to Kenny for your help in sorting out our initial problems when setting up, you were extremely patient! The site was perfect for dogs the sand dunes and beach being only a couple of minutes walk away. We certainly had no problems with noisy dogs or dogs off the lead. We ate at the Waterfront restaurant on several occasions, the food was delicious and great value for money. Southwold and Walberswick are well worth a visit. We would definitely recommend this site and will be returning next year.

Lovely Week

Hi we stayed at White House Beach club site the 3 rd week in June 2017 and had a very nice week helped by the excelant weather . The staff on site where very good and friendly didnt have any problems the site is very clean and tidy toilets where very clean and well looked after . we had a grass pitch number 110 on the corner of the back part of the site witch has a woodloand feel to it witch suited us fine plenty of room to do what we wanted . the other part of the site is overlooking the beach witch is ideal for fishing . The site was easy to find but the road leading to the site can be a bit busy at times but no real problem . Africa Alive just up the road is a nice place to visit also Greatyarmoth and Southwold are good Thanks for a lovely stay Mark & Jean from Westmidlands

Second visit

We previously visited this site 3 years ago and loved it so much that we returned. It is fantastic. Spotlessly clean and in a great location. Great for just having a long walk along the beach which is dog friendly. Also visited Southwold, Dunwich Heath, and Walberswick amongst others. This coupled with superb weather made for a great week away. Hopefully will visit again.

Peaceful & wonderful site.

Just got back from this beautiful site. We spent six nights on the site. So peaceful the only things that could be heard were the birds singing in the trees. Yes there were dogs on site & yes we had our dog with us. To us there was not a problem with unruly dogs or noisy dogs. We were situated under the trees away from the beach. The wardens were so helpful & friendly, they were amazing. Always around to chat & joke with no matter how busy they were. Also if they knew of a problem they would soon sort it out. The site is ideally suited for the beach, very close to Lowestoft & near to Southwold. I would recommend a visit to the Transport museum near Lowestoft. I would highly recommend this site and hope to visit again soon. In fact if my wife didn't have to go to work we would have stayed longer.

So much promise but?

This site has so much going for it but because it's close to the sea shore it attracts dog owners galore, we stayed for 10 days and found most caravans and motorhome had 2 dogs and in 2 motor homes 4 dogs, on numerous occasions dogs were roaming around the site unattended and it became a noisy site with dogs barking morning and night, the the upside is the wardens were brilliant in every way, after 43 years in the caravan club I suggest surely they could have a separate area so caravanners who don't have dogs or cats could enjoy a pleasant holiday without the constant noise.

What A Great Site

This was a great way to start our caravanning experience for the very first time. Upon arrival, we met Janet in the office who knew about my heart problem and therefore had selected a suitable pitch for us to unhitch on, (Please note this was done only because she was aware of my recent open-heart surgery 6 months ago! Normal procedure is you are allocated a pitch upon arrival)We were right next to the toilet book and water facilities so to unable me less distance to travel for water and emptying waste etc.! You could not ask for a better welcome for newbies to caravanning as we drove into the site and found our allocated pitch Peter (Janet’s other half) was there to meet us, he guided us back onto the pitch and helped us set up for the first time. Peter made the whole experience for getting up and running child’s play explaining why certain things are carried out a certain way! (A big help to some of us who are new to caravanning)We later checked out the site and found it is beautifully kept all the grass areas are well cut the pitches are clean and tidy with loads of room between them, there is a small children’s play area which seemed to keep the little ones entertained but overall the peace and quiet is great just what we needed. This site is in easy reach of most of the broads and Norwich itself so great for getting out and about for a little site seeing. We cannot recommend this site enough with all the site staff being very friendly and extremely helpful at any time and again would state for newbies what a great site to start your caravanning experiences. Thanks again Peter & Janet for such a positive stay on your site.

Excellent site and location

This site is in a wonderful location and being in two halves you have the choice of beach side or a more sheltered part of the site. We have just spent 6 days on the site which was fairly empty apart from over the bank holiday. The very friendly wardens were always around and worked hard to keep the site in tip top condition. Our little dog loved his walks on the beach which I'd ideal for dogs and there's a welcome doggy shower just inside the beach side area of the site.

Excellent for dog owners

The site is split between the beach side and a more sheltered area on the opposite side of the road where reception is situated. On a warm day with little wind nothing could be better than pitching on the beachside area; we did about 3 years ago; but visiting in a chilly April with a keen wind this year we chose the sheltered side. Beach side has it's own toilet block which is limited in size (but there are less pitches on that part) The other part of the camp has a much larger block which is clean and well maintained. The wardens are friendly, easily approached and keep the camp in a good state of affairs. The beach is a mix of shingle and vegetation with sand dunes at the back of some parts, it provides an extensive area for exercising the dog and yourself. Kessingland has a variety of small shops, takeaways and pubs with a bus service to Southwold and Lowestoft and beyond. Southwold and the coast to the South is worth a visit as are the waterside villages inland on the Southern Broads
