This site is probably the most run down CC site we've been on and we've visited LOTs. Access is tight with lots of obstacles near the entrance. Still cannot understand why the CC insist on having departures and arrivals at the same time, especially on sites with poor access. All sites should be formalised. Out at 12.00 in at 1.00pm - problem solved. Pitches had hardly any gravel on and the toilets and showers were dreadful. Hardly any chrome left on the taps and showers, badly marked Formica tops near wash basins and dirty tiles. Not the wardens fault their doing the best they can with such dated facilities but needs some serious money spending on this site. Certainly not value for money when you're paying top dollar. Beach close by but shingle so hard to walk on. Local pub, Sailors Home, ok for a beer but certainly don't eat there. It could be a goldmine but is dirty and run down and unfriendly staff. Southwold lovely and well worth a visit, but Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth have had their glory days. Certainly won't be visiting this site again.
A wonderful week
We had a wonderful week here. The site is nicely laid out and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
We had a pitch on the main site but it was only a short walk to the beach. The beach is shingle, and the sea itself was quite a walk from the road, but it was well worth it. There were so many beautiful plants in flower, including the yellow poppy. I'm no gardener, so nearly all of the plants were new to me.
If you turn left as you go onto the beach road, there are strips of conveyor belt laid across the shingle. This made walking across the shingle much easier.
I couldn't fault the site. My only gripe was that the big shops were about a mile away. Next time I'll pack more supplies - and I certainly intend to go back!

Quiet beach
Lovely quiet area, relaxing strolls on the beach, dog friendly.
Another 5 days of relax at Kessingland, to start the summer tour.
Great site, friendly staff, always clean and welcoming.
Lovely seaside site
We have just returned from a long weekend at this site.
The wardens were great, the site is clean and tidy and has everything you need.
The great weather helped too but a 2 minute walk to the beach was brilliant.
Thanks!
Nice quiet stay
Weather was not really on our side but it didn't rain (much) and the forecast appeared to keep many visitors away meaning the site was very quiet. Lots of space, super clean facilities and just a very short walk to the beach which is very dog friendly. Our little Westie made good use of the doggie wash!
Not a part of the world I have visited much but thoroughly recommend this location either as a base for beach walks or venturing further afield.
Quiet Site
We stayed here for two nights in late April. We were fortunate enough to have a pitch on beach side. The facilities on beach side were clean although the floors of the toilet blocks remained wet for an extended length of time after cleaning which caused them to become prematurely dirty. Most of the pitches on beach side were very overgrown and there were a lot of weeds growing around the toilet block and service point, this made the area look forlorn. We did have a walk around the main side of the site which appeared better kept and tidy.

Just as nice second time around
On our first visit to White House Beach club site in 2016 we were lucky enough to get a pitch overlooking the sea which was very nice as we didn't expect there to be any spaces left by the time we arrived. Our second visit between the 16th - 19th of April was well timed after the continuous bad weather we had all suffered, this time we stayed within the main site which was very well laid out with ample space between pitches. As before we found the wardens very welcoming and friendly, constantly maintaining the grounds and facilities. Despite some comments about the shower block being in need of a refurb I felt they were far better than some I have been in, always nice and clean with plenty of very hot water, my only very minor criticism would be that the shower curtains could be positioned further away from the shower as it had a tendency to cling to my bottom!! whilst using the shower - I certainly didn't lose any sleep over it though. It was lovely and peaceful whilst we were there but I should imagine that it wouldn't be so peaceful during the school holidays, fortunately we can choose to avoid those times. We didn't venture very far from the site but did amble around Kessingland and had a lovely meal at The Sailors Home which is only a few minutes walk away. We will return albeit probably in other two years and I'm sure we will enjoy our stay just as much.
Lovely site highly recommended
We are new members and this was our first visit to a Caravan and Motorhome site. We were lucky to get a beach side pitch and found the site relaxing and peaceful. Warm friendly welcome from the Wardens and the facilities were excellent. Showers clean and heated with loads of hot water. We shall definitely be returning
Good site
It was our first time here. We were on a tour of Suffolk and Norfolk and needed somewhere in the Lowestoft area for the night. As a motorhome traveller we are more dependant on the motorhome servicing facilities and these are very good. Site staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
An old favourite
I’ve been visiting here for ten years. I try to visit once a year.
I prefer beachside but it’s almost always impossible it get a pitch if you can’t arrive by 12 which is a shame as I work.
The other side is nice and quiet. The facilities are always clean as with every caravan club site but the shower block is in much need of a refurb. The showers are adequate but not what you’d expect from the caravan club. Which is what you pay your membership for.
The wardens look after the site beautifully and the upgrade isn’t their responsibility so this isn’t a criticism of them.
There is a weeny Park so families can use the beach as a playground.
Kessingland itself is a lovely rugged place and the beach is great with pebbles and heathland.
We ate at livingstones next to Africa Alive which has an American theme and the food was lovely.
I will continue to return 😊
