One Night Stop

We stayed here again as we have done so many times on our way to the South Coast. Fantastic spot in the centre of Warwick within walking distance of a good supermarket and an excellent Chinese Takeaway. The dogs appreciate the large area that the racecourse provides. No doubt we will stay here again another year.

Great Site & Location

We stayed here for three nights on our way home from Cornwall in August and after taking a wrong turn and ending up on the racecourse we were greeted by a very helpful warden who advised us of the best pitches and which ones gave you the sun most of the time. The toilets were Caravan Club Standard, clean, well presented and with a continuous supply of hot water. This is a little gem of a site which is literally in the centre of Warwick Racecourse, but the best part is that Warwick Centre and the Castle are all within walking distance. We also spent a day in Stratford upon Avon which again by car is no more than 20 minutes away and well worth a visit. When we visited the castle we initially went about 4pm and we got a deal where if you went in at that time you paid half price admission and you could get the following day for a £1 each which saved us a fortune, so worth checking to see if that deal is still on. All in all a terrific site and will be visiting again.

Excellent reception

This site isn't the most picturesque but with the really great wardens and the close proximity to miles of walks as well as the beautiful town of Warwick you can't go wrong. We have been twice and will certainly be returning very soon!

Simly wonderful

We stayed 2 weeks while attending an English course in Leamington. We had a great time. The wardens were so lovely. We had a problem with our motorhome and they bend over backwards for us. Always nice and warm. Thank you!

Peace and quiet

Only stayed here for one night. Most of the pitches are on grass but as we had chosen hardstanding, we were on tarmac. The site itself is pleasant enough and the location is great for exploring Warwick as it is within 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Having dogs, this site was perfect as there is plenty of space next to the site for them to have a good run. Not so good for kids as there are no facilities for them but a safe area to play on site and for riding bikes on the racecourse.

GREAT SITE

Warwick is great for families as the location is very central for Stratford Shakespeare country, the Castle is within walking distance which is enjoyable  for the children plenty to do. Wardens are very helpful and keep the site very attractive with all the hanging baskets and pot plants. We will be back next year thanks for a nice time. Mrs Marigold!!!!!

Perfect Little Site!

We only had a one night stay as we headed home from a South Coast tour, but this is a site we will return too and stay longer. We had the warmest welcome here than any other place (Caravan Club or not). The Wardens clearly work hard to keep the site to a high standard throughout. Whilst the toilet block is older than some CC sites, it is perfectly clean and good quality. The proximity to Warwick centre is a real plus and the reason for us using (we don't move our camper once set up). I could not rate this site higher, perfect for us. I'm looking for a date to return, Thanks!!

Fab site

We booked this site as a half way stop on route to Brighton, we had a brilliant time the site is in a great location within walking distance of the town and castle, the staff where very friendly and helpfull and kept the site to a very high standard. The only regret we have was not booking a longer stay! We will definitely be booking again soon ????

our 3 week holiday touring

This is the second time we have been to warwick Racecourse, it is a lovely site very friendly staff very close to everything, felt sorry for the staff as the washing machine was still leaking so there was a mop left there so i moped the floor so staff didn't have to keep popping in every 2 min, this site was the cheapest for the washing & dryer it was nice that it was not unreasonably priced,it was nice to see the staff keeping the grounds neat & tidy & patrolling the site at different time making sure every thing was OK the dog walking faculty was fabulous our little puppy relay loved it just as much as we did  well done we will be back : )

An excellent site

We only stayed for one night while travelling south to the Cotswolds in July, but it was an excellent choice. It is easy to get to and near to the main roads if you are just using the site as a stopover. We were met by friendly wardens on arrival and it is a very charming site indeed. We pitched nose in right next to the race track opposite the grandstand (a prime spot on race days I should imagine). The facilities were very clan and spotless and the site very tidy indeed. The pitch we were on was totally tarmac but there are grass and hard-standing pitches as well. You can easily walk into Warwick itself where there are plenty of shop, pubs, and places to eat. There is a large Sainburys in walking distance as well. We were certainly glad we choose to stay there, as stated below follow the instructions in the club handbook and not your satnav. Thank you wardens.
