Super weekend with fantastic views
We're just returned from a wonderful weekend at Troutbeck. We managed to get a pitch in our favourite part of the site and how we enjoyed the views over the fields to Blencathra. We had a very warm welcome from the wardens - no rules laid down- just the sort of welcome you expect from anyone involved in customer services. It makes such a difference when you arrive on site. The loo blocks were immaculate. Only one criticism and it is only a minor one - some of the hard standing pitches would benefit from some weed treatment. However we are aware this is the busiest time of the year and all the grass areas were well mown and tidy. We will be back as soon as possible.
